Mitä ihmiset sanovat
I stayed at the hotel for two nights with my six year old daughter. I wanted a hotel that was clean with safe surroundings and with close approximity and transportation. And that was exactly what I got!
The hotel was about 5 min walk from Victoria station (with M&S, boots, and other food shops), which litterally was around the corner, yet not too close to the noisy busy street. As we got to the hotel hungry and tired, the receptionist told us that they serve complementary snacks at the rec. kaikki arvostelut »
great location, 30 second walk from Victoria and bus lines - absolutely perfect for getting around London. The rooms are very tight (you can't sit straight on the toilet because the sink will hit your knees) but who cares, you are in central London poop quick and hit the streets!
24-hour kitchen which is great cause london does NOT have a lot of 24-hour places, compared to canada/america - so nice, but even better is the wine/bread/cured meats they offer everyday around 5pm-7pm i think, its gr.
The hotel is in an excellent location, 5mins away from Victoria Underground. Another great perk is that it serves complimentary cheeses & wine from 5-8pm daily at the bar. We stayed there for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon and the team was really sweet, they gave us a little surprise when we checked in, kudos to the team for that! :) While the room was small, it was still alright with us as it met all of our basic needs - i.e. bed was very comfortable, room was clean, shower & wifi w.
I loved the hotel. It was very modern and very clean. It was very
accessible, with lifts and stairs. The location was brilliant too. The
room was amazing, despite having no window, the tv was great, Sky was
provided and Tea and coffee making facilities were also included. The
shower room was great (as others mentioned they are clear glass walls,
with some opaque glass, so perhaps no good if you are a bit shy) the
room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of room.
It wasn't a.
The hotel was wonderful and clean. It was in a great location and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see within 20-30 minutes. It was just a few minute walk from the tube if you don't want to walk. The breakfast buffet was good but there places right around the corner you can eat for a little bit less. The cheese and wine offered in the evening was very nice. We took the cheapest room with no window, it was extremely small but they were clear about that when we booked and it i.
Location is perfect, just 2 min. Away from Victoria train (including
Gatwick Express) and underground system (3 lines), so you can virtually
go anywhere in London in less than 15 min. It is also only 15 min
walking from Buckingham palace. Hotel staff is very friendly and
cooperative. Excellent idea to give free selection of cheese and wine
from 17.00 till 21.00!!!! Makes a great difference with other hotels.
Excellent wi-fi connection speed, and reasonable breakfast in a
friendly environment. V.
The room was small but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay,
excellent location, just minutes from Victoria Station and the staff
were helpful and friendly. Clean, well decorated, good use of space in
the room, tea and coffee making facilities, fantastic tv, good bathroom
facility. On the Friday nite we stayed, the hotel had a free, yes
"free" cheese and wine happy hour from 1700-2000, again
excellent quality cheese, olives, breads and crackers. For the price we
paid £96 for a Friday night,.
Exceptional service, clean & tidy & perfectly located. It is
small but to be honest, if only there for the 1 or 2 nights its just
fine. Smart decor makes the room feel bigger than it is. The best thing
about it is the exceptional, professional but very friendly staff ...
Nothing is too much trouble for them ... whilst the price is budget the
level of service from staff is 5* . This hotel is now top of my list
when straying in town ..... a great, great find! Complimentary wine
& chee.
I've stayed at the Z hotel Victoria a couple of times now while visiting London on business. Its approximately 1 minute walk to Victoria train station so has a really great location for getting around London.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean, tidy, modern (quite small) and well equipped. Price was excellent considering location.
It was the same price for a windowed room than windowless when I booked, and I do prefer to have a window - maybe I'm more claustrophobic than I realis.
Mi husband and I stayed for one night after two weeks of traveling
around Europe. The z hotel has the best location ever, it is near
Victoria station (underground), Victoria Coach station, sightseen stops,
everything. The room was a little bit small and didn't have a window
but we already knew that when we made the reservation, any way it was
perfectly clean and the bed was the most confortable of all the trip. I
definetly will stay at z hotel the next time I visit London, thumbs up!.
The z Hotel was in a perfect location for us. It is walking distance
from Victoria station & Victoria Coach station. The hoho bus was
just around the corner. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants in the
area. The rooms are compact but perfect for a few days of seeing the
sights. It was nice to come back in the evening to wine & cheese
& talking to other guests. Our only complaint was that the bed was
very hard & uncomfortable.
Everything. They thought about everything you would need in a hotel room, kettle, hair dryer, air condition, radiator, big Samsung Smart TV on the wall, HDMI input that you can plug your laptop. They even give you complimentary glass of wine in the lobby. Worth the price you pay. A chic, clean, comfortable boutique hotel very near to Victoria Station. I will definitely stay in Z hotels next time when I come to London.
Centrally located, stylish hotel outfit. Close proximity to the Victoria underground and perfect if you are taking the Gatwick express. The staff pays much attention to details and went the extra mile when they knew I was there with my partner for a special occasion. The free flow of wine and cheese in the evening was a class offering. Beds and pillows were comfy and the Thierry Mugler toiletries were a nice touch.
Even though my cousin had accidently booked me for the following night, and the hotel was full, the manager was very accomadating and I did get a room. The type I had asked for. They also held my luggage for me before and after I stayed. The location was ideal and the pub was open 24 hours - it doesn't get any better than that! Thanks to the staff there on March 20, especially, John, the manager.
I had a great time here, the staff were very attentive and helpful. The room mas have been on the small side but the beds were comfy, bathroom/wetroom nice and convenient and it was the perfect place for me (as a solo traveller) to R&R whilst expoloring London. Location is perfect and so close to everything and everywhere. Complimentary cheese and wine in the evening was also a nice touch.
Great location - 5 min walk from Victoria railway station/underground, very friendly & knowledgeable staff. Rooms are clean and contemporary (although too small). Especially nice was to have free wine and cheese in the evening before going out! All in all - very good price for what you get, but this hotel is perfect for staying alone in the room (not with family) due to very limited space.
The staff were excellent - very friendly and most helpful
The wine and cheese buffet from 5pm each evening (free!) was excellent - nice way to meet other guests
Rooms were small but very well designed but I would have to say double room would be difficult for two people as only one side to get into the bed! Very small bathroom but adequate. Bed comfort is excellent. Good power shower.
The location is brilliant for transport and made our weekend away super easy.
I love the urban design of the rooms, perfect for a bit of luxury without feeling way out of depth, wish we were there for longer than one night! The rooms are equipped with everything you need, they were also really quiet, no street noise. It's great value for money considering location, comfort and style.
The location is fantastic - very close to Victoria station. The staff
were friendly and welcoming. I thought for the location it was good
value for money; you may be able to get somewhere cheaper but it
won't be as stylish or as clean (the sheets smelled really fresh!).
The room was very small but that was ok for me a single traveller for
one night. I would stay there again.
Great location 200 metres to Victoria Station and short walk to all the historic buildings and parks, very helpful employees, modern design, and the superb bonus of free wine and cheese selection every evening which is perfect before going out dinner. Beds are comfortable. If you consider price-value-location ratio, this is the place to stay in London!.
An ideal city break hotel. Rooms compact, clean and comfortable, but small. We knew this at the point of booking and were prepared for size.Well thought out layout . Enjoyed all the extras the hotel provided, welcoming cool drink, wine and excellent cheeses in the early evening, daily papers. Would stay in this hotel again and recommend to friends.
The staff were very friendly. The place was spottless. The room whilst small was very comfortable. The walk-in shower had enough room for eight people! When I checked in I was invited to reception at 5.00pm for complimentary cheeses and wine which was amazing, good quality wine and a fantastic selection of cheeses.
I loved the décor and the way it was put together. Very clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful. Location was great. The free wine and cheese was a great bonus each night. The café was open 24 hours so you could get great food anytime. Free drinking water in the room. Loved the design of the room and bath.
I absolutely love staying here, the staff are fantastic, cannot do enough for you, the rooms are just perfect with full range of sky which is a real bonus when staying on your own. Complimentary cheese, wine and mince pies is an added extra. I've booked to stay here every time I'm in London, can't wait to return.
Great place to stay for a solo traveller. Meet lots of people in the communal dining area and happy hour. Had a room without a window which was odd at first but then found really cosy and well designed. Close to Victoria station a bonus. Staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. Will stay again definitely.
Loved this hotel! Location was excellent just minutes away from Victoria Train Station/Tube. Staff was really helpful - I had to go Royal Mail office and the staff helped me search for the office and printed directions for me to get there. Many programmes available on tv. Will definitely come back again!.
Fabulous staff !!! Very helpful
and knowledgeable with all details and accommodations. I had a queen room with a window which was very quiet and comfortable, but small which I already knew. The wine and cheese event was wonderful and was such fun meeting other guests. Will be sure to stay there again.
Hotel location is perfect - 1 minute from Victoria.
Staff is very friendly and hotel concept is something very interesting and innovative - reception and bar/restaurant in one place.
As the rooms are small, anyway seems that somebody take care about design and comfort here ...
Thank you very much !.
The location is perfect if you arrive at Gatwick airport. No hassle to go to and form Gatwick. The reception is informal and I like the wooden table with the apple basket on top: makes mi feel at home. The complimentary cheese and wine happy hour from 5 to 8pm is a pre-dinner relaxing moment.
Really loved everything about my stay. Check in was efficient and friedly. Room was lovely. Had a room with no window which I had requested and it wasnt an issue at all and did not effect my stay or impression of the hotel. Location was great. I will not hesitate to use this hotel again.
Free wine and cheese and crackers at 5pm was ace and the staff are so great !!! The rooms are small but the showers are lovely !! The location is next to Victoria station !! Wether spoons every day for breaky!! 5 min from Buckingham palace!!! What a great hotel !! Can't wait to go back !!.
The hotel is new one, in a perfect position to visit the city, the manager Mr Joao from Portugal is very kind and I am pretty sure he can have a bright future in this field or others because he knows well how to deal with people and customers, free good buffet in the afternoon excellent.
Rooms are small but excellently finished and creatively laid out such that the lack of a window did not make one bit of difference. Hotel is right across Victoria station exit and central to pretty much all of London, whilst the price is very reasonable considering all that you get.
everything: staff, cleanliness, complimentary evening wine & cheese buffet, room facilities, Thierry Mugler toiletries, location, free tea&coffee in the room... the whole Z concept and style; I would definitely come back myself/recommend to my friend; hope to see you again.
The fluffy large pillows on the bed. i just sank into this luxurious comfort and slept well. Very quiet inspite of being in Victoria. Big fluffy white towels. Fantasticly powerful shower. Friendly staff. They looked after my luggage whilst I traveled around town. Will book again.
Location was perfect for exploring London. As described, the rooms are small, but they were very clean with great facilities, good size bed and bathroom. Air conditioning worked well. We were on the 6th floor, lift access was fast. Enjoyed the wine and cheese in the evening.
staff very friendly and helpful.
Hotel atmosphere lovely and relaxed. Room compact and all facilities that you need. Wine and cheese a nice touch before we set off to the theatre. So close to the theatres for Wicked and Billy Elliott. Best place to stay for theatre break.
The staff were incredibly helpful, the room was perfectly adequate with some nice design touches and the shower was great. Well located in London within walking distance from Victoria tube and coach station. Well placed for visitor attractions. Very good value for money.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.
The complementary cheese and wine evenings were a great surprise.
I have already recommended this hotel to my family and friends and I will definitely stay in the Z Hotel next time I visit London.
The location. Very close by Victoria Station. The rooms were small, but very cute and comfortable. Love all the movie channels on tv. Great place to stay for a weekend or if you pack very light. Wine and cheese at night is fun, even if you don't drink wine or eat cheese.
Everything! location, location, location! Very friendly and super helpful staff! very modern, clean and loved the free extensive happy hour every early evening!
I would stay again and recommend it to those who want to stay in a very nice place with a fabulous location!.
The room has everything what you need even an Europian plug. Free cheese and wine proposal, drinks ( mint-orange f.e), great chokolate cake, good coffee, good breakfast. Very friendly and well trained personnel! Very nice atmosphere! I just loved the place!:-).
Great location, just a few minutes from Victoria station (trains, tube)
Very clean and new-looking room
Coffee and Tea available in the room
Very friendly staff
It was possible to leave the luggage in the hotel after and before signing in/out with no extra cost.
Good service, clean and modern rooms. We also had an upgrade which was wonderful. Would stay here again for its urban feel, friendly atmosphere and central location. Just around the corner for Victoria station and lovely pub next door for drinks and good food.
I liked the style of the hotel and rooms. The bed was so comfy and loved the shower. Very clean. Great idea having a bottle of water in the room along with the tea and coffee. The staff were very friendly too. Will be using Z Hotel again in the future.
Excellent location: close to the places of interest, pubs, Victoria railway station, metro. Fare price and good quality reakfast. Good vine choice.
Very clean, towels changes every day. Hairdryer, drinking water on table, rich choice of TV channels.
The location was just perfect, near Victoria Station and in walking distance from many sightseeing. The room was clean and comfortable although it was small and without window but we already knew that. The staff was friendly, willing and polite.
The hotels location is fantastic for visitors to London wanting a cwntra base camp for their days out. The rooms are small but perfectly designed with everythimg easily at hand. The staff were friendly and the hotel was bright and very clean.
Room design good for short stay- breakfast served in the downstairs cafe was good- the cafe seems sociable and is used by locals as well as guests when I arrived they had a cheese tasting going on which had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Very clean contemporary room.
Complimentary cheese and wine served in the evening, lovely selection including dip/olives. Friendly staff, all very helpful and polite.
Good continenatal breakfast but full english did not satisfy my partner.
It does have a few minor drawbacks - such as zero room service and no ice machines etc. but these are small issues and given the price point, almost to be expected. Also note that the beds, while i found them comfy, ARE somewhat stiff - it is more like a cross futon/pillow mattress then a spring mattress, but i slept very well each night...
Small room.
The reception area was also the bar,it was little odd, but I didn't
dislike it, I just went straight to my room to relax. A few people also
mentioned the trains/tube noises. I hardly noticed aside from the
small rattle every so often. It's well sound proofed.
Rooms are modern, but too small. All the rest was simply perfect!.
The only thing it didn't like is the communal breakfasting i.e. more or less one big table that everyone sits at. I'm not a morning person, and I prefer my own company when I'm trying to wake up over coffee!
Limited space for hanging stuff up properly.
Nothing, everything was perfect.
Rooms are a little bit small. Ground is shaking because of the trains but it didn't affect my sleep much.
The hotel does make good use of the space despite the constraints I must say. To be fair we already know what to expect in terms of room size when we made the booking. You do hear some slight rumbles from the underground in the day though.
I had a few issues with my TV and the WIFI which were fixed up for me quite quickly.
Extremely small rooms - ours was about 5 sq.m., no chance even to open suitcase on the floor! We stayed as family with 5yr old kid - he was sleeping on the floor on an extra blanket because bed bed was small for us three. And a bit strange to have a room without window - like living in a wardrobe...
Amount of space in room was very limited. Some noise from train station nearby so go for rooms higher up the building.
Fine for one night stay but might become claustrophobic if staying longer
Ensure you book room with window as rooms without are very claustrophobic.
The window of my room looked straight into an office, so I had to have
my curtains closed the whole time for privacy; a blind would have been
good. There was a bit of street noise, but considering you're in a
busy location it wasn't too bad. The thing that annoyed me was that
the place to hang your clothes was right by the bed. The room (304) was
small and wouldn't be suitable for more than 1 person.
Nothing really to dislike. Only suggestion would be more lighting in the bathroom especially over the hand basin!.
English breakfast was on the small size.
No hook near the shower and not much closet space for extended stay. That's about all I can think of, it's a great hotel.
Price was a little too high for the small room.
Nothing, it was fantastic !!!!.
6 days in a room with no window is definitely too much. It does not give you a feel of the day when you wake up in the morning. Weird cleaning time.
The fact that I couldnt stay long enough to enjoy the complimentary wine and cheese!.
So rooms a little noise.
A small shelf where to place the supplied towels inside the bathroom rather than leave them on the bed would have been appreciated, space is indeed that limited.
no dislikes.
Nothing to complain about.
Actually nothing at all. !!.
it was perfect for what we wanted!.
It was just perfect for 2 days.
Loved everything! Couldn't have been happier!.
The room is very small but we knew it and it was ok for a few nights sleep.
When we got back at night, it was very cold and the heater wouldn't work. Not too keen on the shower being see through right near the bed lol!!.
Nothing.
Nothing really the hotel ticked all the boxes for me for a one night city centre sleep.
Room size on the small side but adequate for 1/2 night stay.
Full english breakfast a bit lacking.
