Mitä ihmiset sanovat
Wow! Such a friendly group of staff. The staff couldn't have tried any harder - they genuinely were a friendly and helpful bunch - Premier Inn should be very proud of them. Well done! And thanks in particular to the manager Raj, and reception staff Aleha and Sh'nai who bought my 5 year old son a birthday card and box of chocolates. A really nice touch.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout. The breakfast was wonderful, and again, the staff in the restaurant were fantasti. kaikki arvostelut »
We had a family room for 4 and were kind of packed into the room but it worked fine - after all, we were out seeing London except when we were sleeping! Our favorite thing was the breakfasts served in the dining room each morning and the fact that they were free for our two teenagers (free for 16 and under). Eggs made to order, amazing sausages, beans, sautéed mushrooms, etc... the yogurt they served was organic. Compared to the kind of breakfast you'd get at a budget hotel in the U.S. - this w.
The hotel is in a great location near Blackfriars Tube and easy walk to Fleet Street. It is modern, clean, functional and ideal for business travellers and sightseers who are likely to be out and about more than sitting around the hotel. There is a decent bar and restaurant with great breakfast - all you can eat at a reasonable price. My bedroom was spacious and spotlessly clean with easy to use aircon/heating system. The best thing about the hotel is the staff - they are pleasant, efficient.
Very clean and comfortable. Bathroom spotless. Lovely, comfortable bed with smooth, tactile sheets. Rooms seemed almost sound-proofed, it was very quiet. Breakfast excellent - all there you could wish for. Very well organised hotel. Check-in/out quick and easy (did not use the computerised check-in desk). Left luggage room well-organised and we felt safe to leave our stuff for several hours on the last day. Would stay again. Also, location was excellent with tube and many major sites very close.
The staff were most friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for more.
The English breakfast was great, and they even offered us porridge
etc. which were not included on the menu. A clean and reasonably
spacious room - with sturdy beds, mattressis and pillows. A tidy
bathtub. Excellent location: Just a 5 min. Stroll to Blackfriars tube
station. The Punch Tavern, Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, The George and
many of the best London pubs within a few min. Walking distance. A
superb Indian restaurant (Indian .
The staff are fantastic! They could not be friendlier or more helpful or knowlegable. Whoever is recruiting and training them knows what they are doing. It's also a great location for the central London attractions. Everything is within walking distance. For the less energetic, the circle and district lines through Blackfriars will get you to most attractions within four to five stops without changing trains The food is of a high standard for the price and the meal deal is great value. Child.
The staff were great - any request was dealt with in a friendly manner. The staff was exceptional! This is a well run hotel.
We liked the organization the hotel had at the breakfast buffet. There was a host that greeted us and escorted us to our seat so although there were many people, it was well organized - no mad rush.
We also liked not having to take out a mortgage for our two week stay.
The hotel was fairly new, clean and although basic, had what we needed.
The staff were universally friendly and helpful and very welcoming. The room and beds were very comfy and bedroom and bathroom were clean and pleasant. We stayed in a family room with our two three year olds and it suited us well. We were not aware of any significant noise from other guests or outside. Breakfast was great. Price was very reasonable given the central location. I would definitely recommend to others.
Fantastic location just across the street and around the corner from Blackfriars tube station. Extremely quiet stay in a business district. Very friendly and helpful employees. Fantastic breakfast spread. A lovely family friendly pub-The Harrow- just behind the Premier Inn, serving well prepared meals & drinks. Many rooms are available upstairs for dining so don't be discouraged if the place looks packed!!!.
London is an expensive city, but we found this hotel to be good value. Very close to Blackfriars tube station (Circle line), only 3 stops to Westminster. Great efficient staff, checked us in early. Really appreciated this as we had flown a long way. It must have shown. Rooms very clean and modern, comfy beds. Amazingly quiet location, yet so handy. Restaurant great for dinner or breakfast.
considerate staff, easy and fast check-in and out, great location - close to metro/train station, but quiet, close to city center, new&big double room, comfy bed, tea-coffee with kettle in room, great view from the windows of the highest floors - st. Paul's cathedral for no extra cost, nice breakfast& fast service, 30 minutes free wifi, 2 steps to tesco shop... great value for money!.
Excellent location, staff very accommodating, especially in the restaurant, breakfast great value, even if you went for the continental, porridge was superb, evening meal wasn't expensive either. Room was clean and quiet, bed was great, was on 6th floor, never heard a thing, no traffic. Will definitely be staying there again and already recommend it to friends who are going down soon.
This hotel is quiet, quiet, quiet! It is in the financial district of London and everything shuts down on the weekend - which is fine with us. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is only two blocks from the Blackfriars underground station - though not easy to find the first time. We have already booked our next three trips to London at Premier Inn Blackfriars.
We had a quiet room, which was spacious and clean. The boys' single beds were already set up for us, and very comfortable for them. Breakfast was generous, and the children ate for free. The location was excellent. There was a small Tesco close by, and it was only a 3-minute walk to Blackfriars tube station. Fantastic base for a London City-break with 2 young children.
The staff were fabulous. They were always friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The included breakfast was great. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The location was perfect. Close to everything. Could walk to everything wanted to see almost. I hope to return to London one day and would love to stay at this hotel again.
This hotel was absolutely fantastic, the best value for money. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the rooms extremely clean with modern large bathroom, very fluffy towels. The bed was comfy with a selection of pillows, and the breakfast was great. Very large choice of English breakfast, all the food was fresh and hot.
The location is very quiet and close to the Blackfriars underground station. The front desk staff is very friendly and eager to help if asked. There is now thirty minutes per day of free WiFi, which is a nice change. We had a problem with a stopped-up shower drain and maintenance arrived within five minutes to correct it.
The location is excellent and made it easy to get around London. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best part is the automatic check in. There was a line a the desk when I got there and I just checked myself in at the machine and went on my way. Very handy.
The staff in both the hotel and restaurant were extremely polite and helpful. Being so close to the blackfriars underground station was a huge bonus. It was also quite close to many of the london theatres, very close to convenience stores and pubs, restaurants and shops. The full english breakfast was also very welcome.
Excellent and friendly staff. All you can eat premier breakfast from the
linked thyme restaurant was unreal. Costs 8.50pound but well worth it.
All other food from the restaurant was also terrific.
rooms were plain but satisfactory and clean. bed was very comfortable, and customer choice of pillows was a nice touch.
We discovered, in the middle of the night that the air conditioning did not work. When we reported this in the morning we were given a full refund with absolutely no quibble. Great customer service.
Location was perfect - near enough to the centre but away from the crowds. We would go back without hesitation.
I liked everything about the hotel, great helpful staff, location to tube 3 minute walk, 10 minute walk to Hop on Hop off located outside St Paul Cathedral. Walking distance to all attractions. The restaurant with very reasonable prices. The breakfast was great. Grocery store, pharmacy and shopping blocks away.
This hotel is very well situated to the City, St Paul's Cathedral and transport. Rooms were well presented.
Breakfast had a wide selection to choose from but busy on weekends.
Evening meals in restaurant were very good and well priced.
Well organised.
I would stay there again as it is good value for money.
room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfy and choice of pillows good. Bathroom was spotless. Staff were available, friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good selection well cooked. Location very near Blackfriars tube. Air conditioning good, can't open windows and would have been too hot without it.
Superb staff welcome from trainee to manager from reception to
restaurant. Hotel scrupulously clean, food at lunch and breakfast very
high quality, brilliant London weekender location for our family from
grandparents to three year old. Check in swift and efficient, left
luggage really convenient.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel
location was great and very close to tube station. Restaurant buffet
breakfast was quite cheap with variety of dishes to choose. We had
dinner package for 4 person for 31 pounds and the food was quite good.
Worth every penny.
Staff were fantastic, as was the charming and friendly welcome on the
morning of our arrival. The breakfast was spot on and great value.
Rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Free (and secure)
luggage storage. There are plenty of hotels that could learn something
from this place.
Location is very convenient for interesting bits of London. Room did not suffer from noise - either from adjoining rooms or outside, the bed mattress comfort was first class, breakfast choice was good. Hotel must be three star because it has no gym, otherwise it is easily above that level.
This is a clean, comfortable hotel in a terrific location. We could
walk to the Thames (boat cruise, Globe Theatre, Tate Museum, etc) and
had great access to subway stops. In addition, the Tesco and Marks and
Spencer stores offered fresh, reasonable deli selections for
economical eating.
Very nice hotel. New, clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Very good location, near Blackfriars station. The restaurant at the hotel is very good. Breakfast was great, we had dinner there as well.
This is a great hotel in the middle of London, walking distance to St Paul's cathedral.
Perfect location in the City of London within the 20 min walk to the sightseeing points of London, excellent full English breakfast buffet, clean room with comfortable bed. Polite and responsive personnel at the reception and the restaurant. Would definetely stay there again.
PRICE AND LOCATION
Great price, clean modern rooms and throw in a good breakfast to boot.
Location is spot on. Easy access from Heathrow by subway and use same subway to see all sights in London area. Purchase an Oyster card and save $ on your everyday/everywhere travel.
Brand new rooms, everything was spotlessly clean - could not fault anything
Staff really friendly and helpful
Good value breakfast
Hotel is in a very quiet area - could sleep well, which is rare in London
Walking distance to Covent Garden (20 mins) and many other sights.
Room was quiet. Staff was friendly. Check in and checkout were easy. We ended up finding the breakfast to be a good value, since the kids ate free and the food was plentiful and good quality. I would stay here again. A minor issue with the shower was fixed promptly.
Good location with easy access to Blackfriars tube station and all the buses along Fleet St., and to explore the area around St Pauls All staff were helpful. This is a business area so it's quiet at weekends, and some restaurants were closed. We would stay again.
Staff were very pleasant, especially the breakfast staff. Breakfast was
reasonably priced for a hotel and was plentiful (you pay extra for
breakfast).
Very clean room and bathroom.
Excellent location. Only a few hundred metres from Blackfriars Tube Station.
Friendly staff
Huge family room with two single beds(rather than pull out).
Fab breakfast-even got me gluten free bread/porridge
Freshly made eggs to style you want-omelettes,scrambled or poached.
Very clean. shower gel/shampoo provided
soundproof rooms.
Great price for the quality. Clean, comfortable and great location for touring. Very impressed as we had never stayed at this chain before and most rates we found in London were much higher but decided to give it a try and we were very happy we did.
Nice hotel in good location. Rooms are smaller but clean and staff is helpful. Walking distance to Blackfriars Raild & Underground. Food in Thyme Restaurant was good and children menu appreciated. Overall good experience and good value for money.
The courtesy and helpfulness of all the staff. The cleanliness of the rooms, lobby and restaurant. The buffet breakfast was great. The fact that it is a new hotel and nicely located near Blackfriars station and in the center of downtown London.
Room was very comfortable and quiet. A good sleep was possible. Bathroom was big and clean. Air conditioning was very silent.
Breakfast was very rich and of good quality. Staff was friendly.
Very good connections to the center with Tube and Buses.
Very good location near train and underground stations, many coffee shops and eating places nearby for a quick lunch. Walking distance from St.Pauls cathedral and also from the center. Spacious rooms, good breakfast (free for children under 16 yo).
All staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Very comfortable rooms, warm and very quiet. Lovely restaurant, excellent choice, and extremely good value!. Very convenient for sightseeing and Theatres. Could not fault this hotel!.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The 'Thyme' restaurant was really pleasant for breakfast & dinner. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. The location was minutes from the tube and central London attractions.
Brilliant location- 2mins walk from underground and as we flew to Gatwick the train brought us directly to Bkackfriars which was brilliant. Breakfast was so good and rooms were spotless. Service from the staff was also excellent.
I would like to express my gratitude of appreciation for all the help that we received from the staff.
Everyone at the front desk was just so wonderful and helpful my husband and I will definitely return to The Premier Inn soon.
Good location very close to Blackfriars station. Basic but comfortable room and bed. Very clean. Excellent staff, very attentive, good food at, for London, reasonable prices. Very impressed and wouldn't hesitate to return.
Whoever recruited and then trained the mainly young reception staff needs to be congratulated!!....best customer service I have experienced in any hotel. Nothing was a problem for them!..well done Premier Inn Blackfriars team!.
All staff (reception, waiting & cleaning) were only too pleased to be of assistance & were so friendly! Room was always kept clean & tidy. Great location close to major scenic sights, transport, banks & shops.
The staff was very efficient, friendly and helpful.
A very quiet room which allowed us to have a good night's sleep.
Excellent location and within a walking distance from several London attractions.
Exceptionally clean room.
Absolutely nothing - other than the fact that we couldn't stay at the hotel any longer!.
n/a.
Room, although extremely comfortable and well-appointed, seemed to have no temperature control. Couldn't open windows and felt a bit "sealed in". Also slightly concerned that if there had been a fire, windows were locked and no fire escape route on hotel door.
Would have liked a minibar (a fridge) in the room. No safety deposit box
in the room, but it was no trouble using the hotel safe for our
passports etc.
The rooms are small for a family so be prepared to squeeze in and be organised. UK hotels in this price range do not have in room refrigerators. The air conditioning struggled with London's record heat wave while we were there.
The bathroom had a strange smell. I don't know whether it was some cleaning product or the water or what it could have been.
It would have been nice to have some cheese or pancakes at breakfast since we ate there every morning for two weeks. Otherwise there was a decent variety.
The bed and pillows were somewhat hard.
Nothing, it was a great place to stay.
Nothing =).
Nothing, everything was great.
There is only one chair in the room which required that one of us sit on the bed if we wanted to watch television. A minor thing, but still ...
Nothing.
Nothing.
It would be nice if there were two chairs in the room so that one person doesn't have to sit on the bed. Housekeeping was a little hit-and-miss (didn't change sheets when requested, didn't replace used glasses, etc.). However, the hotel does provide 24-hour housekeeping if there is a problem.
The Wifi was terrible.
There was only one chair in the room for two people. It was expensive to have to pay for separate internet devices. There was no shampoo or shaving plug in the bathroom.
Price - london accommodation in general is extremely high so in
comparison with most places it was actually quite cheap. However still a
little overpriced for what the hotel offers
free wifi is only available for 30 minutes a day (per person) which is an unnecessary restriction. especially due to the high price of the rooms
despite these small quarrels we had a fantastic stay and would stay again :).
We discovered, in the middle of the night that the air conditioning did not work.
Nothing at all, excellent place to stay.
No toiletries provided (except for liquid soap).
Room cleaning and make up sometimes lacked attention to detail. ( eg shower base not wiped).
This is a well organised hotel, but did have difficulty with requests which were not part of their normal activities. On the plus side they were quick to fix things when brought to their attention.
Soap dispenser in shower is just in wrong place, kept hitting it with elbow.
Breakfast plates were not hot so food went cold quickly.
Constant piped music in public areas, especially at breakfast!.
Hotel has no laundry facility or service.
Price was perhaps a little higher than we'd have liked, but was
probably good value for the central London market.
The staff are friendly but not always knowledgeable about tourist info.
The internet service was too weak on the upper floors, so they had to
move us to a "basement" room (which was actually fine).
London was great; liked it all.
As with so many places, loud music piped into every public space. No clock in room.
I am not keen on the check-in procedure at this chain, it all seems a bit impersonal. And I would prefer the option of a walk in shower- it is less dangerous than getting in & out of a bath.
Take your own toiletries! The only things available were the squirty
handwash/shower gel/shampoo dispensers. The gel didn't
lather well and didn't smell very nice.
Don't know why the room tariff was so high for the night we stayed (£157!). Maybe it was because it was Father's Day weekend or Trooping the Colour. But it was the same throughout London that weekend. Normally, Premier Inn is much more reasonably priced!.
liked everything.
Rooms a little small for family of 4 but very workable.
We stayed in lower ground floor room and occasionally you can hear passing subway cars. No big issue but would choose upper floors next time.
Hearing some plumbing noises although it did not keep us from sleeping.
The wifi is free only for 30 minutes per day per device. Considering the price a full free connection would be more reasonable.
Family rooms are only in lower floors, but it doesn't matter if you spend most of the day out.
House-keeping issues-there were dirty tissues under the pull-out bed. There was not a cot/linen/bedding for our children. However this was put right very promptly. A soft-play room would be a great addition for travellers with young children.
Nothing not to like.
Could not charge restaurant meals to my room!...meant having to pay for every individual meal!.
Absolutely nothing displeased us.
We were en route to America and had 4 huge suitcases. The small room made it hard to move around.
We stayed 5 nights. The last 2 nights were extensions. It would have been nice if the hotel had not charged us double for the extended 2 day stay.
