Quiet and friendly Hotel
great staff, and on leaving before breakfast had started the young man on reception (sorry but cannot remember his name) but it was on the morning of Sat 13 th July 2013 he had a coffee and a bacon roll ready for me to take away , Now that is what you call service and that is why i would recommend The Drumoig to anyone. easy parking so for a short drive out of ST Andrews why have all the stress of parking in town, Its a No Brainer for me.

The ambience, location and surrounding landscape were very good. The room was generous in size, clean and well furnished, albeit, the upholstery was threadbare. The b/fast and lunch were of a very high standard as was the service by staff. The weather did help. Should like to return for a slightly longer stay.. Our son and his joined us to celebrate my wife's birthday and they seem to have enjoyed their stay.
Arrived at 1920 hours on the 6th October 13 and received an excellent welcome. The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had an excellent hot water shower. Breakfast had varied options and was cooked to order. I will be staying again - probably two nights and will take my golf clubs for a round of golf! Thank you.
The staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was freshly cooked. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. I noticed previous comments about the toilet in the bathroom was next to a window, draw the blind, no problem!.

the location . The friendly welcome received at check in and waitress service. The food was very good and tasty.The rooms were very comfortable with fantastic views and very clean. I would certainly visit again.
Overall we enjoyed our short stay at Drumoig, the location and staff were excellent. We are not golfers, so we could see that this hotel is much a golfers' haven. However the room was comfortale.
The staff created a friendly relaxed atmosphere. They were all extremely helpful and polite it made my stay one to remember, I would highly recommend this Hotel, great value for money.
The staff were very helpful and friendly especially when arranging an extra breakfast when our daughter joined us in the morning. The golf course looks absolutely stunning.

The rooms are fine and clean but may be needing a freshen up, but beds very comfortable .
To be told that we could not have dinner that night as the party of visiting golfers had the preference and the restaurant was fully booked . We had to drive out to find somewhere to eat- not very convenient! As it happens our son found 'Guardbrighe Inn' and the dinner there was exemplary.and excellent value for money.
The blinds on the bedroom windows didn't cut out the early morning sun (yes, sun in the uk) to well.
The breakfast bacon was over-cooked.
The furnishings and decor need some attention, some of the covers were threadbare and paintwork need some tlc.

We were in the cottage at the left. There were no curtains to the window
so could be seen by passers-by. The beds were awful - springs sticking
up. The toilet is situated next to a long window - enough said?.
