The staff are truely excellent at this hotel and did everything in their power to make me feel comfortable as a single female traveller. The room was lovely and I particularly liked the idea of the honesty bar in the lounge area. This is a real boutique hotel which not only offers individual styling but more importantly individual service at an accessable price which is quite a rarity!. It is about 3 years since we stayed at the hotel and it was just as good this time around. Super service, super room and fab breakfast - an altogether very enjoyable experience. Although we were very pleased to receive an upgrade, we were worried that there would be noise from the road but were very pleased to see that the nightclub seems to have closed down.kaikki arvostelut »
The staff were particularly helpful and charming. They gave us the feeling that nothing was too much trouble and that all of them geuinely cared about us. Also the room was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable-especially bed and the luxurious bedding. i took the romance package, which was well worth the money. The room was huge and champagne was waiting on ice for wen we got back from out meal. The breakfast in bed wasn't bad either! I have been to quite a few hotels in leeds and this s by FAR the best.On arrival to the hotel you are treated like royalty. My bags got taken to my room while we arranged check in. All the staff in the hotel wanted to help, even with the smallest of thing. The room was large and had a fantastic cross over of modern and old. The hotel was perfect in every way, clean, quiet, superb decor and very helpful and professional staff. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would definately return. The staff were polite, the service excellent, I'd probably have moved in permenantly if i could afford it. All staff were delightful couldn't have been nicer. The building is simply beautiful. the decor the politness the comfort the breakfast everthing superb. personal service, discrete and welcoming, incredibly comfortable.excellent service and value for money on the romantic break. Location, staff, room. Central position. Beautiful old building, nicely converted into elegant hotel. Good amenities in stylish bedroom and bath. Perfect location on a side street steps from the train station and city centre shops, restaurants, attractions. At well under £100 on this website, excellent value for money!. The suite was perfect, if a little quirky. The views of the city rooftops gave a different perspective of the city that I'd never seen before. Comfiest bed ever!! The location was ideal for our stay, everything was available on the Hotel doorstep!!!. Particularly impressed with the cleanliness, spaciousness and decor.I liked it's "homeliness" - it's lack of impersonality. Nice hotel, great room with a great location.excellent room. location. One of the comfiest beds we have slept in for a long time - Paying the extra for the upgrade to a Queen size was well worth the money!. Comfortable, large clean rooms, good location. the rooms are very comfortable a good size with everything you could want and more we loved our stay. Location for restaurants, station etc was very good.locality, finish to the rooms. location and staff efficiency. Central location. The room was very nice and well stocked with refreshments and extras. warm, peaceful, attentive staff, great location. The overall ambience of hte hotel is very nice. size of the room, hotel decoration. Location and style of hotel. The suite was attractive. Central location, inetersting building. room service was efficient. No complaints, it was excellent from arrival to departure - front of house staff very good also.No. I usually prefer a bath over a shower. The toiletries-occitaine-were delightful. As said before over air condition. the weather ha ha. carpets in room could maybe do with a clean and tv's updated to give it a classier look. I believe there was only one smallish lift, at least that I saw, which could be a problem at peak times if the hotel were crowded. No wireless Broadband. breakfasty not included. Room was on the very top floor and a bit on the small side, certain areas of the room had a low ceiling.Lack of information about restricted parking. parking had to walk 10 mins in rain no parking. Yes - when I came to check out at 5am there was nobody on reception. There was a note asking me to call "0" - which I did but nobody answered. I had to leave for a business meeting so I just had to leave my keycard on the reception desk. I wasn't able to settle my account and as yet, no payment has been taken from my account. The noisy room - overlooking a very busy road. Rooms should have tripleglazing as double doesn't work. customer service could be improved greatly. items mentioned on the web site that should have been included in the room were not - ie bath robes. Breakfast overpriced. Weekend room rate reasonable.Shabby service: water and papers requested not delivered. Left hotel at9am, returned at 2pm to find room not cleaned. Bed not turned down atnight. Wash basin plug did not work. No bulb in bedside light. Charge£10 per night for uncovered parking. A very expensive disappointment. No parking, was put in a disabled room next to the lift, no bath, limited facilities.car park facilities were full and no offer to park the car, we were out on the evening and it was pouring with rain but they had no umbrellas.
