We were given a key code to get in as we were arriving when Heidi was out, it was a simple and no fuss system, we were able to put our bags in and go and explore York. The breakfast was hot and tasty and served with a smile.   The Acer was the cleanest BandB I have had the pleasure to stay in. The room and en-suite were immaculate and the breakfast was superbly cooked.   We really enjoyed our stay at the Ashbourne House. The room was fantastic and very inviting. The breakfast was very good and included many choices. Also, they provided us with a babycot and a highchair. There was a variety of complimentary teas and coffee in the room along with a clean water pitcher and cups. I would highly recommend this BandB to anyone!! - We had two different types of rooms which were both extremely well kept and very clean. There was an excellent selection for breakfast. The hotel was within walking distance of the city and not too far from other attractions. Paul and Julie were welcoming and helpful when we needed information during our stay. I would recommed this hotel to anyone.

I will definitaly recommend it to friends and will definitely stay there again.
