  I'll start by saying that I saw my parents' hotel in Mayfair, The Millenium, which is supposed to be upscale...which it was, but for double the price, their room was only slightly larger than ours at the Hyde Park Boutique. The hotel is located near - I stayed two times in the same hotel within a week, once for 5 days and once for one night only.   The staff especially jelenna, were very helpful, the room was very clean and enough space for me and my partner for a short weekend break. Also the apartments are in a good location 4 minute walk to Bayswater tube station which is a good central tube station for anywhere you want to go in London. We will defiantly be staying at short let appartments again - I like that the apartment was clean and had tea and coffee. But having other essentials would have been nice like salt and pepper, oil and a better knife. The apartment was also nicely decorated and did not look run down and is in a great location and wasn't very noisy at all.
