  I needed a basic, good value, clean, convenient room for an overnight stay where a location near Paddington station was a key requirement. I had a small double room with ensuite bathroom/shower. The room (and, it appeared, the whole hotel) has undergone recent refurbishment and so all of the decor and decoration was new and the furniture appeared ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » up to date. The room had good soundproofing from the road and was at a comfortable temperature. The bathroom facilities all worked perfectly. My room - Stayed at Hotel June 12/15. Mature Couple. Small but comfortable hotel. Clean and well kept. Located 50 yards from Bayswater Road and 150 yards from Queensway. Very good front desk staff who were most helpful with getting us in with an early arrival time. They were excellent throughout the stay and assisted with anything we wanted. Would recommend this location to anyone requiring an inexpensive but adequate hotel.

  Location was excellent and easily accessible. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and we had many nights of sound sleep. On our return trip from Paris, we encountered some delay in getting our room and were surprisingly compensated with free breakfast :) On the whole it was a good experience for the family.   Well, very friendly, concerned staff. You can see that they really want to please you. When I called them to say I couldn't arrive on time and asked for a late check-in I had been told "no problem". Another example is when I had to leave without getting the package I ordered on the Internet (it was delivered late after my check out) one of the man... mitä ihmiset sanovat » gers, Inese, wrote me an mail telling that they had got it and then sent it to my next hotel for me on the next day. Also I liked the location of this - breakfast was simple but enough. They provided a cooked English breakfast (without sausage!) but toasts, some fruits, yogurt and cereal were self-service so it was quite nice. The room was small but tidy and comfortable. And the shared bathroom was clean and not crowded. I didn't wait to take a shower.

  We stayed in the hotel part but met backpackers in the bar. It was clean, friendly and in an easy spot to get around with buses and tube stop within a 3 minute walk. Kettle in the room for the morning coffee was appreciated greatly. Really pleasantly surprised for what they charge.   The Hotel was of a good clean standard with friendly and helpful staff. The room was very pleasant, clean and cheerful, not large but we have had smaller in London. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was warm. (The weather was bitter cold during our stay!) The breakfast (continental)was also plentiful with a good choice. We would definately u - Location! A short walk across Kensington Park to the V&A Museum and other great collections. Good tube connections to Queensway Station just a few minutes walk away in a "safe" area of London. Good shopping and eating locally or a couple of stops away on the tube. The continental breakfast is simple but adequate with reasonable quality product on offer. Despite my adverse comments I would short stay here again. I have seen worse hotels in the area and the management of the Troy should raise
