  Everything. From the greeting at the door to reception to our bags beingplaced in the best room I have stayed in the uk. The service wasfabulous and the hotel was fantastic - will be returning - I travel an awful lot and I must say the Scotsman is one of the best hotels I have ever been in. Huge room with all the trimmings. Great price. Fantastic

  Great place in the middle of the centrum. Despite this, it's rather quiet and away from all the comotion from the Grassmarket. For us the location was splendid, eventhough we had a car. For this we were set up with a free parking spot close by. Payment procedure might be a little confusing and slightly time-consuming, however worth the effort and... mitä ihmiset sanovat » service. Place was designed very practically as well as cozy and modern. We missed nothing since the appartment is fully equipped. Cooking at home w - The self-contained apartment was beautifully appointed with luxury facilities and attention to detail with all basic provisions e.g. coffee, tea, milk croissants The location was great with walking distance to the museum,art galleries, transport restaurants and the castle. Set in a quiet, secluded close in the middle of Edinburgh this was a luxury retreat for us.

  Easy to book, very attentive property managers, Large Victorian style apartment on the top floor close t the city centre. Its about a 15-20 minute walk to the main city centre but lots of other bars/cafes/restaurants just a few minutes walk away. Whilst there was limited metered parking in the street it was cheap at only GB$1 per hour during the... mitä ihmiset sanovat » day, free after about 5pm till 8:30am. The bonus was that if you ask the company they can arrange a free NCP city parking pass at one of the main cit - We stayed at the Blinkbonny Rd residence and it was great. The owner was extremely friendly and the home was immaculate. Absolutely made my family feel like we stayed at our home away from home. We can't wait until our next visit.

So willing to accommodate us, we are vegans and normally when we travel and stay in hotels the staff do not even consider accommodating us whereas here they made it look easy, we were generously given a wonderful breakfast. The room was beautiful, very clean, warm, comfortable. Great value for money. When we visit Edinburgh again we will stay here! - The guest house manager, although new at the establishment, went out of his way to assist me. I was preparing to leave on a 3-day bicycle tour the next day, so his help was invaluable.
