  I highly recommend Caravel Guest House. It’s located in the centre of the New Town close to the railway station and the shopping area. The rooms are cozy and the toilets are very clean. The breakfast is nice if you take the cooked breakfast. We'll stay there again if we go back to Edinburgh.

  The staff was excellent especially Claudia-who was exceedingly helpful in finding a tour for us to the Highlands and Loch Ness last minute. The tour left very early and she arranged for an early breakfast even though they weren't open for breakfast yet.   We arrived with our son who is wheelchair bound , and the owner couldn't have been more helpful. She even sent his breakfast up to him on a tray!!! FANTASTIC....The building couldnt have been more central!! All in all, a fantastic budget place to stay in Edinburgh.
