Guests can enjoy traditional home-cooked meals in the Tingle Creek Restaurant, which overlooks the sea. Fresh Scottish ingredients are used, such as highland beef and local cheeses. There is also a lounge bar with a wide selection of drinks and a roaring log fire during the winter months.
The Isle of Skye is only a 5 minutes away by car and provides a scenic setting for a drive beside the scenic Cuillin Mountains.

Andrew and his staff were excellent. Nothing was too much bother. The food was also excellent especially breakfast. Their recommendation for eating out was superb on the night they did not do food. The bar and public rooms were of a high standard with comfortable seating. Many games were provided for guests to play in the evening. The hotel was easy to find and Andy the host made us very welcome, unfortunately Tues & Wed are the chefs nights off but Andy recommended restaurants which were superb. Rooms were clean and shower rooms excellent, The scenery in the whole area is stunning and will definitely be back to Tingle Creek.
We enjoyed this hotel very much. The innkeeper and his wife are the owners. Not only did he check us in, he waited bar, took breakfast and dinner orders and served the food and tended the attached pub. The room was very quiet and the hotel has spectacular views of the ocean.
The hotel is in a beautiful location. It is very a very quiet location. the facilities are very good and the room comfortable. The breakfast is also good and abundant. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the dinner excellent and very good value for money.
Liked everything about the hotel, felt like home away from home, food was great, hotel room was excellent, andy was very funny and make the trip that extra bit special. Location, not to far from eilean donan castle, and a couple of miles from plockton.
Absolutely nice staff: welcoming, helpful and always cheerful. Comfortable rooms, charming deco in the lounge, good breakfast and outstanding dinner (we had salmon and mussels). We highly recommend it and would always come back.

- Very nice restaurant though we only had breakfast there (Wed night restaurant closure).
Probably the best you could obtain in that remote area of the Inner Hebrides because, from what I saw, the hotels are scarce and outdated.

service. Hotel right on the sea and a lovely view. Free parking and
great access to skye and surrounds. Beds comfy.
Location, views lovely. Food excellent, design and quality of rooms and social areas really comfortable pleasant and practical. Staff really helpful and friendly. Enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast - as we don't eat meat for breakfast we asked for some fresh vegetable and cheese which was ready for us every morning.
If you are up to nice cuisine, not so expensive and for relaxing quiet
time. Then this is a nice hotel to stay at. Good for value, nice view on
the Skye island.
The staff were fantastic. From the owner with a wicked sense of humour to the friendly attentive waitresses Views from the hotel over Skye were superb.
everything was great! the staff especially the owner made everything perfect. The restaurant there served very nice meals that were reasonably priced.
The room, the views,the food but especially the hospitality we were shown by Andrew nothing was an effort to him and made our stay so pleasurable.

Little "off the beaten path"; thank goodness we had a Mapquest printout as well as a GPS.
My room was excellent. My father's room was also advertised as
having a sea view but his view was mostly the roof of the bar building.
Make sure you are in room 8 or lower number if paying for the sea view.
The room has functional buisness-hotel type decor. Does not feel like country side hotel.
Perhaps the cuisine is closing too late in the evenings at 8:30.

I enjoyed the whole experience and found no faults.
Shower was not very powerful and there was no shelf in the bathroom for toiletries.
The restaurant is closed two nights a week, we would have preferred to eat and drink at this wonderful location.
Lack of public transport except taxi service in the area, so traveling from the hotel to the nearby town or other attraction sites may be a bit pricey, but this isn't the fault of the hotel, staying in any hotel in the area or even in the town itself will have the same issue I believe.
