Quiet and easy check out. Also it was the first pick up on the airport shuttel hense an empty bus!. The size of the room was fantastic and the cleanliness.The fact that it had a full bar downstairs and a gym. clean comfort and location. Convenience to Heathrow. 24h bar incl. food options. The location was good;close enough to the airport but far away enough from aircraft noise!. This hotel had everything you needed and was very close to HeathrowAirport. Highly recommended. Friendly staff, convenient for Heathrow, shuttle bus to terminals. 24 hour gym. The friend liked it and it met his needs. USD$200 was one of the least expensive that had rooms available and was very close to the airport. The Front Desk called me in San Francisco to verify using my Visa card for the room charges and to allow my friend to charge his breakfast. So it all worked out very smoothly. I think stranded travelers should definitely consider this hotel.the addition of parking facilities whilst we were on holiday. convenient location and good meal options. Convenient location clean room good value. closeness to the airport. services. Tried to tell me I had to pay a fee of 50 pounds for canceling a room even though it was only 1 PM and well before the 4 PM deadline. I had already called in advance from Dover as well.Express checkout facility, means get away from airport for flight quickly and easily. Convenience for airport. Proximity to the airport. had to ask for room change , even second room was damp and not to 4* standard expected from Holiday inn. good access and parking. Not alot. I was quoted £77 at reservation but charged over £160 on check out. the pkg lot was very full....there were far too many grass verges that really could be used for pkg instead. internet is lousy did not work well and could not get my work done missing software ie JAVA. Customers should be told that there is a fee for the shuttle.They got the duration of my booking wrong and the proce of my booking which I sorted out but it would have been nice if someone apologised. well we booked a room with a double bed and a sofa bed but all we got is a double bed. i would of prefered it if they got it right next time. Apart from that it was brilliant. A shame there was no swimming pool. The dripping wall. check in was a problem. on arrival the weather was awful, the main reception area and bar areas were extremely coldd, on such a bad day some heating would have been nice. We were meeting friends for dinner and by the time the restaurant opened we were frozen, the restaurant also wasn't terribly warm.Shower very weak but not a big deal :). The staff with some exceptions.I was charged £18 for something I did not have and when we were checking in, it took them twenty minutes to find our booking and then tried to place me and my companion in a double room when we had booked twin. No ashtray in smoking room. Over all not bat but as mention before too expensive for one night without Breakfast included. Both bed and pillows were too hard. The hotel had no record of my booking in their system. Room dirty and damp -. THe labelling of the Holiday Inns in Heathrow meant that I went to Holiday Inn, Sipson.... instead of my hotel. I picked up a taxi after being told this happens often, but the hotel cannot be renamed due to franchise rules. I complained and awaiting the Chairmans office to call me. The room was not my chosen and paid for room, plus I was given a 2x7am wake up calls in addition to my requested 8.15am.
