I booked the Grampian as I travel a lot in my business and am fed up of cheap "Inn" type accommodation. I thought that the Hotel was exceptional Value for Money and kept to a very high standard. It had all the amenities I expected presented in a stylish and friendly fashion. I would have no reserve in recommending this Hotel to any of my friends or colleagues.
The owner is very friendly, we were going to be late for a wedding at a venue nearby so the owner gave us a lift. You don't get that personal touch from a hotel. Breakfast was very nice and the b&b has the best views across the Tay! Free parking and bus stop into town right outside. Was very easy to find. Very nicely decorated. Loved the spacious room with an awesome view of the Tay River. The
scottish smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were an unexpected breakfast
treat. Heather suggested a nice restaurant about 20 minutes walk down on
the river. Take a torch with you, the ped. Bridge isn' t lit. Its
called the Bridge View Station.
This is a very comfortable and clean hotel. The proprietor Heather is very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for her. I would recommend this hotel. I look forward to staying again on my next visit.
Owner went out of her way to assist us after a booking problem. She had a good knowledge of local area and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyable stay and location gave us access to Stirling Castle and Trossachs.

Attractive house. Room reasonable size with a good shower. Very nice aspect looking over the river and parking easy. Only Continental breakfast on offer which was OK. A walkable journey into the centre and several restaurants on the way. Dundee is a very nice town.

No storage space - wardrobe was four or five rails on the wall. One drawer in the bedside cabinet. Had to leave most of our stuff in the case. No rugs on the bare floor.
Charming older hotel. Needs a bit of curb appeal brushup work out front.
Pull a few weeds. Get rid of the ashtray on the front steps; cigarette
smoke wafts into the bedrooms on the second floor. Make sure that
outside neighbors are not leaving beer cans on the steps. Put tv on wall
so that it is visible when in bed....not at head of bed.
They need to have a special ring when you arrive after 10 pm so you do not wake up all the hotel to check in.
