This was a really lovely place to stay tucked into the trees off a quiet road, but very near Crawley and East Grinstead, and most important for us, Gatwick Airport. We were able to access places very easily, but felt more relaxed out of the way. The main receptionist whose name I unfortunately forgot was wonderful! She lives on site and couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Even arranging cereals and milk on a tray because we were checking out very early morning before breakfast was av.

The last one I staying in, I couldn't even get the door fully open before it hit the bed and I had to sidle through the door. This room had soooooo much space and the shower room was nearly as big as a normal double room. Very clean and very comfy. Friendly and helpful staff with a professional attitude. Accommodation was fine. The location is excellent for quiet and greenery. Dinner was fine with a good wine. Bed was comfortable. Full English breakfast enables a full day's activity without lunch. We appreciated the kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. Very friendly staff with comfortable rooms. We had three rooms for a couple, two children and a grandparent. A one night stay for a family party at another location, would use again if required, Good breakfast. PS. Looks good for a stopover for Gatwick, car can be left for £20 / week.,. The dinner was excellent, also good breakfast with large choice. Very hospitable host who even provided me with some paracetamol for my cold. The heater was turned on in the very cool morning. Good mattress. Nice location, pleasant walks across the fields to Rowfant Mill close by. Perfect Hotel, all the staff were staff were amazing to a a level I have never experienced before. Food and rooms were spot on too. If I am back in this area for an overnight trip the Regency will be my first choice without question. The hotel was in a very narrow road with not much visibility from the driveway, but cars going quite fast. However, location for airport and standard of rooms more than made up for that. Although very clean, the bathrooms are a little dated and only sachets of shampoo provided. Dark decor, room on the groundfloor. Nothing. Nothing all was good. Bathrooms could do with an update, but for the price they charge this is no issue at all. Nothing much, good value hotel. Nothing.. nothing. Although the bathroom was adequate it was dated and could do with a reurbishment. The main car park was unlit and far from the reception. There was an event on, on our second night and with the weather we had to have our window open. The music and guests were very noisy until 1am. Can't think of anything!. A little thing and you find it in many hotels, but in windowless bathrooms a noisy fan which stays on after the light is turned off ... Bathroom could do with a spruse up. Nothing. sweeming pool needs cleaning. The bar was in the restaurant area, It should be separate. Too much cold in the room. Dining room carpet could have done with cleaning/hoovering remains of previous nights event not a welcome sight in morning. Food Price too high Breakfast no served until 0730. Waitress at breakfast looked quite scruffy for a hotel but was pleasant and helpful. Access road difficult to find. Room could do with a little updating but was still comfortable.. Nothing. Had to walk on busy road to get to walking trails. Décor a little tired although very clean and comfortable. Not easy to locate at night time. Room not very clean with insects such as spiders, daddy long-legs, etc. Bathroom old and dark. No lift and hence difficult to move luggage to top floor where I stayed. Beware... I booked this hotel based on the high rating from letsbookhotel.com. The room is very basic with low quality bed and furniture. The pool was dirty and not swimmable. I would classify this hotel as a 1 or 2 star with a rating between 6.5 to 7.0. No way is this hotel rated over 8!!!.
