  What made the difference here is the small team take the care and attention to be friendly, helpful and welcoming. Liz as the owner and manager is a wonderful host who ensures all the guests are taken care of. This is a rustic, quality, traditional pub with guestrooms in a fantastic location with great views of the countryside. The location was simply stunning with a complete panoramic view of the Western Lakes from both my room and the dining room. Food was excellent and great value with a superb breakfast included in the price of my stay. I simply cannot recommend here enough. I will return soon!
