Bournemouth International Centre is a few footsteps from the property, whilst Bournemouth Oceanarium and the pier are a 5-minute walk away. The train station is 5 minutes away by car.

All the staff were very attentive and polite. very good staff, very helpful. Friendliness and efficiency of staff. Overall cleanliness. Excellent dining facilities, meals and organisation of the dining room. Accessability. Good location. Comfortable room. Good breakfast.Room and food very good. location to B.I.C. We stayed there 20 years ago!It was nice to see how it had changed , however the bathroom could do with some improvement.

Clean, friendly staff, easy to find, close to food and refreshment outlets. facilities. It is very close to the BIC. An easy going atmosphere and nice comfortable bed. Wifi access useful, spacious dining room, close to town and amenities. Close to town and The Bic. also a good standard of food and service. reception staff were extremely helpful and polite. Location and good facilities. Helpful staff. The location was excellent near the foot of the very steep hill with lift access from the large car park. the breakfast was excellent and plentiful. the friendlyness of the staff. Friendly clean hotel. Large room. Staff were very friendly and professional and the meals we had were all superb! The bed was comfortable and luckily, the window could be opened to let in some fresher, cooler air.When I complained that there was a lot of noise at night in my room from a generator or something like that my room was changed. good breakfast, nice friendly staff, rooms were clean and beds comfortable, water hot. Overall no complaints. The best thing about the hotel was its location. Close to the bic, bars,restaurants and the shops. Restaurant and Staff were very good. Clean,friendly staff, food OK. staff pleasant and helpful. location. How close it was to the B.I.C. as thats where we spent evening. Friendliness of staff and proximity to beach. The staff were very helpful and the spa facilities were reasonable for that standard of hotel. Also very central to everything.nice location for city centre and sea shore, within 10 mins walk either. Convienient for town centre. a night out at the BIC. Good breakfast, good location re town centre/seafront. Location. Service at bar slow. Had to ask for service.bed was not the best I have slept in. the room requires a freshen up with decor. The bathroom could do with some improvement.Too many young children running around in the restaurant and screaming. Squeaky floorboards in bedroom. Car parking limited. The room was above the kitchen and very hot. The floorboards are very squeaky. The quality of the breakfast could be better.Some noise from all-night disco over adjacent roundabout. sauna was not working. bedroom number 2 directly under lounge / bar which meant noise at night and noise from chairs being moved. Would also suggest black out blinds on window as cars turning at the roundabout outside meant car lights shining into room. Problem with the heating system in my room. Noisy in the small hours from the street. Floor in the rooms very noisy. no direct access from the bar to the outside seated area. The bedroom was very tired looking and the hallways were incredibly hot the whole time we were there. The room was clean but appeared shabby and grubby as the room's decor has probably not been altered since the 1970's. One of the waiters was really friendly and smiled a lot on the other hand the other one scowled most of the time I saw him.Decor shabby, our rooms needed a makeover!, Car park pretty awful, although this is not really something the hotel can do much about, short of giving free parking elsewhere. Swimming pool could have been a little warmer. On our first night we were kept awake by a thumping disco going on somewhere until about 1.30, although again this not hotels fault as I presume the noise was based nearby. Rooms are dated and noisy. There was a function going on and it was hardto sleep due to the noise. We had to wait till 14.20 to get into ourrooms after arriving at 9am. Our bedroom was extremely tired and in need of redecoration, which was not reflected in the brochure pictures !!!. If humid ventilation in room not adequate even with windows open.Also room above floorboards would creek when guests walked on them.I needed the staff to close the window for me twice as it kept opening by itself and I didn't have 'the knack' to close it so that it would stay closed. The wiring leading to the TV was taped together and not a continuous wire. The TV was the smallest I've seen since the old portables, and was too close to the ceiling to be watchable. The coffee pots dripped and leaked all over the tablecloths. floorboards noisey. Single room quite small. offered poor room on arrival but got it changed. The room was very dated and shabby. The tv only had two channels that worked. The room was stifling with only one fan and we were unable to open a window due to being on the ground floor. Hotel advertises that you are staying in 'Art Deco' surroundings but that definitely wasn't the case where the room was concerned. Room was very "tired". badly needed decorating and upgrading.the swimming pool was out of action on saturday. The windows did not open which made it uncomfortable as the room was very warm. You could not walk across the room without the floor boards sqeaking.... very loud. Food was expensive only one tariff. (set meal price). Rooms need redecorating, incredibly noisy floorboards in room and in room above. Street noise into early hours from passers-by/revellers.Had probably the worst room in the hotel despite the hotel having lots of vacancies. The room was tiny and very poorly decorated , breakfast both days was so badly organised, we were left waiting in the bar for half an hour and snapped at by some of the staff due to them being stressed out and not coping very well! However myself and my parter have stayed at the troville several times before and have never had a problem with room or staff, so maybe they were having a bad weekend!!. Hotel is in need of modernisation. Beds were uncomfortable and standard of bed linen was poor. We booked two nights and only stayed one. We stay in Bournemouth often, this is the worst Hotel we have stayed at. The room I had needed refubishment the bathroom was not clean.The price of £90 a night was not realistic for a room like this.
