I stayed at the ibis for 5 nights last week and I couldn't fault a thing about the the place. The staff are very friendly and will do anything to help you. I did not eat in the hotel so I can't comment on the food but there are lots of lovely places to eat nearby. The location is brilliant, in the heart of the queens quarter and not far from the city centre. I was impressed with the size of the room and it was very comfortable. Overall, a great stay and I will definitely be back!.
kaikki arvostelut » Everything about this hotel was amazing for the price. It's not a luxury hotel in the absolute sense, but it certainly felt like one for the amount they charged. Definitely my favorite hotel of my trip. Customer service was on point. Their location is about a 15 minute walk to and from the train station. If I'm ever in Belfast again, this will be my first choice. basically everything. Staff was very nice and helpful, internet connection available, quiet location with good connection to downtown, restaurants -24hs supermarket etc. around the corner. Big room and air condition (I was there during the heatwave), I received really quiet room as requested during booking, breakfast until 12 (!), good bed, big bathroom... The location was good. It was close to the Queens university and is a short walk to the city centre. Reception was helpful they helped me check-in and print my flight ticket. When I left she helped me look at the train times because the taxi was taking too long so I decided to use public transport to the airport. Really close to Botanic station. I liked the informal professional staff service - pleasant, friendly and non-imposing. The staff members I encountered during my stay were exceptional. I have a hearing impairment and the gentleman at reception dealt with my request for a room with fire alarm buzzer (under pillow) splendidly!!. Parking near the hotel was a problem, but the hotel was quite nice and close to Queens college and city center. We just thought the parking was a bit of a problem, and had to park on another block behind the hotel without access from the back. Otherwise, for the price, quite good. Staff were really friendly and helpful. I had a lovely, comfortable stay in a quiet room. Room and en suite were spotless. I would highly recommend ibis Queen's Quarter for both price and service. When I am visiting Belfast again I will be booking into this hotel. For the price of £45 for a double room for one night I was very impressed with the size of the room, the bed, the decor and style and the facilitites. Staff were efficient and polite. Great location. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Hotel was ideally located in a quieter part of town but still within walking distance of everything in Belfast city centre. Parking was available free of charge on the street outside the hotel. Staff was very friendly. Room was very good. Location was perfect a lot of bars and excellent restaurants on walking distance. We also walked to the city center every day, is not that far! Good price-quality range. Worth coming back!. Location as was close to a lot of good restaurants, places of interest. Staff were really helpful & friendly. 24 hr bar service. The facilities are very well maintained, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. On our three-night trip, this was the cheapest hotel yet the only one where everything worked perfectly. I liked the comfort of the room, The bed was so comfortable, the room was clean and the bathroom was good, nice design and spacious enough to enjoy your shower. I enjoyed my stay. The location is perfect, you can walk anywhere in Belfast from the hotel. The rooms were clean and not too small and most of the staff was warm and welcoming. The clean, smart room and proximity to the city centre and other nearby pubs/bars/restaurants made this an ideal place to stay for a weekend in Belfast. Liked the security aspect of having to use card to get access to any room - no individual could walk off the street and go straight to the rooms. Room was clean and facilities good. The IBIS hotel is in a great location and the staff were helpful and friendly. Our stay was most enjoyable and excellent value for money. The location was good, few minutes walk in to the city, cute bars and cafe close by. The main issue is cleniness. The tea cups were still dirty and the towels still had hair on it. Ensuite shower room was an odd pod-type construction which didn't seem up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was not so good. You actually don't need it because there's so many restaurants nearby! We were there for 4 nights and had breakfast. When we checked in we payed for the breakfast but we only went 2 times. When we said we don't want the other days breakfast, we were very surprised we did get the money back! Super service!. Nothing really springs to mind. Nothing. walls a bit thin - you can quite easily hear the room next door. Nothing really. Ac not working well, they had problems, but resolved quickly to an acceptable standard Needs a little maintenance in general. The bed was very firm and not the most comfortable. One evening the person manning the desk/bar/kitchen etc was the rudest person I've ever met. He yelled at his customers and was rude to others in the bar. I dreaded him being on staff in the evenings and when he was I walked out the door and found other ways to get food and a drink rather than put up with his abuse again. It would be the only thing that would make me think twice about staying there. Not much really. Noise. We had a room on the 1st floor overlooking the church and there was a constant loud humming noise from outside. We stayed on a Saturday night and had to knock into a room in the middle of the night because of screaming and shouting. Breakfast was £6.95 extra and was really not worth the money. Would eat out somewhere a bit nicer for the same price. Would have been great value if part of the price of the room. Room was an odd layout (I'm older part of hotel) and not comfortable to sit at desk-space. Requested a move but no alternative rooms available. No on site parking. No bath in the room. View not pleasant. Rooms were a bit too warm. Hard to fault. I have no dislikes in regard to the hotel. Hard and flat pillows although an excellent bed with a topper. No sound proofing for the ensuite if sharing with a friend!!. pillows could be a little fluffier/softer. short of staff during diner, 1 person must do bar and cooking at the same time. The room I was in had a bathroom that was like a pod inserted into the room and there was a slight smell, but when you opened the window it went. After checking out of the hotel on our way home, I went to take some euros out of a handbag which we only had in the hotel room, we noticed it was 40 euro less :( There was no way possible that i could of lost this money as it was in the bag when we arrived and the hand bag never left the room for the three days we stayed, for this reason I would not return. Why dont they have branch all over uk. The heating system was poor and the blow heater was noisy and provided cold air.The floor was dusty and there was black mould around the shower grouting. The free parking is actually not in a private car park, you have to park your car on the street. The Wi-Fi is free, but you have to ask for a temporary code, which they didn't explain during check-in. Very slippery floor in shower!. Two tea bags a day stingy - I boughten own. Didn't try the breakfast due to poor reviews and price. The shower: sometimes really hot and sometimes cold. You can't open the window completely. It was a bit cold in the room, even with the heating turned on.
