Located at Shaftsbury Square, the cosmopolitan hotel is a 5-minute walk from Queens University and the Botanical Gardens. The main shopping area is a 10-minute walk. The award-winning music bar serves food from 12:00 to 14:30 and hosts live bands during the week and local DJs at weekends. There is an alfresco smoking area. For more formal dining, the first-floor restaurant offers a fine fusion of Asian and European cuisine, with Irish favourites and special promotions.

The staff at Benedicts were great, they were so helpful and really pleasant. The food in the restaurant/bar was delicious and arrived well presented and was good value for money. We stayed in the executive suite which had a spa bath which was better than I had expected it to be plus the king size bed was soooo comfy! I've stayed in a lot of hotels but this is one of the best for its price. I would recommend that you upgrade to the executive suite as it is only an extra £10 and is worth it.

Rooms are exceptionally furnished and quite large - the jacuzzi tub in the executive king is AWESOME! Staff is exceptionally helpful, courteous, and friendly. The attached nightclub is a load of fun - great for a night out or for some hilarious people watching :) Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed at in all my European travels :). This Hotel will bring us back to Belfast for another visit, staying here, of course!! The staff were so good at what they do, from reception to the dining room, they obliged in every way they could. Extremely professional, friendly, and helpful in every way. The food was just excellent and the room was superb!! We were totally spoiled at every turn. Fantastic ....... We will be back!!. Staff on reception , informative, very friendly& helpful. Breakfast was super all freshly cooked & served with a smile!We have travelled around the world & stayed in many lovely hotels.How refreshing to find a little gem so close to home!! We will be back next time we are going to the theatre in Belfast Thankyou!. This hotel offers big rooms and excellent food in its restaurant as well as complimentary drinks when you check in. The staff are very very helpful and always address you with a smile. Location is good too. I find nothing to complain about this hotel and will definitely recommend to friends travelling to Belfast. The staff were the best, friendly and helpful. The location was great and close to both the central district and the university area, which added a richness to our experiance. Breakfast was good with lots of choices that included not just the cooked breakfast but yogurt and oatmeal and fruit. Complimentary drinks and food when we arrived. Had dinner on the 2nd night in a fully booked restaurant, food was served really fast and extremely friendly staff. Loved every moment of our break, couldn't fault it in any way and can't wait to book again and again!!. Friendly Irish hospitality. Room was well presented; immaculate bedding and towels. Restaurant excellent, both eating in and room service - good selection for evening meals and breakfast (lunch also available). Family friendly - both young and older. Excellent Hotel, Anna the receptionist was superb she was a great help with anything we needed. All the staff, from the barstaff and waiting staff were very friendly. Food was excellent too. Brilliant breakfast too. I'd go back tomorrow. Liked everything about hoter .Staff especially nice ,with specila mention of front of house manageress.Very good hotel and definatelt stay again ,and will recommend to my friends.Thank you for making my 65th birthday very special. Clean and large room, plenty of storage and towels. Comfortable beds and good TV/internet facilities. Appreciated the free drinks voucher in the bar. All the staff friendly and helpful both in the hotel and in the bar. Staff were friendly and service was great! I had an extra guest come in the second night and we were provided with extra bed, towels and bedding no problem! Will be recommending this place to others.... Bedroom was spacious and well furnished. Food in hotel restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. Very good atmosphere in bar particulary in the evening.I found staff to be very helpful and polite. Hotel is kept meticiously clean at all times,very friendly & informative employees especially receptionist,excellent couisine,good location,bus stop beside hotel,three minutes ride to city centre. we thought the staff were very friendly, room was lovely and clean, jacuzzi bath was so relaxiong, no noise from outside or the bar downstairs, within walking distance to shops and city centre. The location was great, the bar is amazing, the restaurant looks great and the food in it is as good as it looks. The rooms were of a very good standard. We all really enjoyed staying there. Very smart to choose this hotel: nice room, cheap, good location, and convenient! There was a little noise at night but I was fine with that. Even the pob and restaurant are very good!!. Within 7 minutes walking distance from bus station. Restaurant and pub inside hotel. Wonderful staff. Comfortable big rooms with soft bedding and pillows. A not requested sofa bed appeared in room after maid service on first morning; made eating at dining table in room difficult. Nothing I disliked. Nothing. Would have been helpful in the room to have some info on local places to visit. We visited during a very hot period so the room became very stuffy and our windows did not open enough to catch any breeze. Rooms were too hot. very annoying at night while having a drink at one of the bar tables,female floor bar person constantly watching to see if your glass is empty,we always return our empty glasses when getting another drink. fire alarm went off in our room due to the steam from the bath..apologies :-(. Slightly noisy late at night, but not really a problem. There wasn't anything I did not like at this hotel. Had a bit of a problem with one of the rooms we booked, got back after being out and greeted by a smell of sewers, got moved to another room and have to say next mornin was a slight wift in that bathroom to, the 2 men that dealt with the problem could have been more pleasent but over all good hotel. Not a thing!!!. I had to leave!!. No on site car park and there is a night club below so can be noisy at weekend till 1am. Loved the whole experience. getting white bread in sandwich when asked for brown but waiter very apologetic and offered to change it1. The pub doubles as a night club. Therefore , it's a little loud until 2am however, not a big deal unless you're a really light sleeper. if i had a fault would have to say perhaps a wee bit tired in bedroom re decor and bathroom could have been cleaner as in grime around tiles and bath handles ,also was extreme weather conditions but room was stiffliling !. None. My room (301) was beside the lift, which is very noisy. Water from shower could be more stronger. there was nothing we didn't like. Nothing. Minor quibble,our room was next to the elevator ,so at times it was a little noisy. Nothing. Live music every night between 11.00 pm & 1 am. Too loud when relaxation is needed. Wish the parking was a little closer. But, still would stay here again.
