The concierge, both Mr Alp and Mr Jim were extremly helpful in providing plans and maps regarding the best in istanbul.   Perfect location! For those that would like to have some drinks by night is perfect. Even the residence has a top floor disco with an amazing view and a very cute small bar. It doesn't exist a reception. We arrive late in the night and the key was at the 6th floor, at the bar.   Turan and his staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We didn't test English speaking ability as we speak Turkish. The apartment gave us more than enough space for luggage, etc. compared to the typical boutique hotels in the area. The location was convenient to Tophane tram station, so we could easily reach many tourist attractions.   The place is awersome! We stayed for 4 nights and we felt very good! At the reception was permanently a person to give you the key and notice who gets inside. The place was quiet and clean. We order food in our room and the receptionist helped us to make the order. She also helped us to find diffrent places in Istambul. It was a good place to do shopping, the place is near by a big mall. - Very friendly and hospitable staff, front desk even called me while en route because I hadn't been able to receive their reply to me via email. And went out of their way to serve us. Don't really know if I should recommend this hotel because it is a jewel hidden :-) but cannot keep it to myself. Few mins. Walk to Metro and all kind of local shops, restaurants and food stores. Yummy. Will definitely come back again!
