We had great time, staying at Gezilist House 2 Apartment with Terrace.
The major advantages of this apartement are:
1. It is a quite beautiful and comfortable place to stay, very clean and modern, even though in Tarlabasi neighbourhood there are many old buildings
2. Its location. Every thing is quite close 5-10' by walk. Especially Inci and Araf bar!
3. Ertan is very helpful and friendly. He facilitated a lot our accomodation.
We highly recommend this place to stay visiting istanbul.

nice hotel with all the basic things u may want. very close to istiklal street and taksim square (5 min walk), comfy bed, newly build clean and spacious room with nice bathroom amenities (paper slippers and all u know), friendly and helpful staff.

The apartment is nice design.
although close to istiklal and taksim, place is in a ghetto kinda neighbourhood. i didnt feel unsafe at all but just sayin. also to reach istiklal or taksim, u gotta climb up a lil hill. (may be slippery in winters).

Where should I start ?? The neighborhood where the hotel is full with boys living in street with pocket of fire and dogs. it's too dark, scary and dangerous ..
The boys keep try to talk to u in Turkish and shout at u every time u pass by them ..
The electricity goes off couple of times and there no extra light or power at hotel.
Went down to check-out and I found out the hotel charged me one more night without my permission bcoz I have been late 35 mints than 12 ...
Stuff don't speak English.
