Location was great, close enough to the craziness of khao San road but far enough away so it wasn't too noisy. Everything you need close by. Wifi only in public areas but worked ok in my room as well (top floor).
Says it offers a laundry service and I saw laundry being done but when I tried to get mine done, receptionist said they take too long and to go elsewhere. A bit annoying as I didn't need it doing desperately. Toilet seat tied on with string.

I stayed at Erawan House twice during this trip to Thailand. The important aspects for me are - location, quietness and security, then staff and cleanliness. Erawan House was excellent in all aspects. Location: excellent - very quite and within easy walking distance to anywhere around the Khao San Road area. Security: felt as though my belongings and myself were safe all the times. Staff: were lovely; very helpful (eg: made phone calls for us), friendly and fun. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a trouble-free time in Bangkok.

Good location, friendly and very helpful stuff, excellent place for a night or two. Prepared our room for early arrival. Free luggage storage after check-out.
Small problems: Wi-Fi is almost non-existant, they should do something about it. Some may find the place a bit to noisy in the night, even with inner windows. People staying on the 5. floor may lack an elevator - ask for the second floor if you don't like climbing stairs.
The hotel location was very close to kazan street where it is meant for entertainment but it is very far from DMK airport, Safari park and also from the city.
I paid 900 THB for a single person for a night as there is no rooms available for single occupancy. If the room rent is like 400 to 500 THB for a single person then I would have enjoyed little bit more in Bangkok???.
Location is perfect, near the famous sights of Bangkok and Khao san road. 500 Bt to pay as deposit for the key. very nice helpful family at the reception.The room is clean.

Staff were friendly, location is excellent, near all attractions, such good value for money, bed was so comfy, and the shower was a lot better than expected. Also tour operator there was a lot of help.
Don't get wifi in the rooms, but still get it just outside (knew this when we booked so not a problem). Have to pay a 500 baht deposit for your key, so remember the extra.

No breakfast provided. Internet line not really stable and lagging. My room smelled but I opened the windows to air it for a while and it was ok. Water leaks from air-con the next day.
The location is excellent, 2 minutes walk to phra atit pier, 5 minutes walk to khaosan road. Staff very friendly & helpfull, it's aldo so close to seven eleven, money changer & restaurant. Value for money, good atmospher for traveling with family.

The location is awesome. Just 5 min to Khaosan Road, 20 min walking to Grand Palace and Wat Po. The service and staffs were nice. Worth to try!

Stayed with husband and daughter 13 years for 2 nights. The hotel is good for those who want to see the historical sights. Very nice hotel location. The boat, which serves as a public transport for 15 baht per person can gain access to the city center. And these trips are replaced by a tour of the canals. To the temples are within walking distance, you can take a boat trip. To the pier from the hotel to the right, right up to the junction with the small green area. And there is a pier. From the square go to the promenade along the waterfront and go to the left about 100 meters (just 7 minutes walk). Prior to Khao San Road: from the hotel to the left. to the left and down the street at the intersection Rambutti right to parallel streets - this is the Khao San Road (7 minute walk). While driving on a two-day excursion on the River Kwai (taking on Khao San Road with an English speaking guide - highly recommend the program 201) was left two large bags for storage at the hotel for 10 baht a day - everything is OK. At the request provide a hair dryer. For such a price - all wonderful. If you leave something edible - small ants will come, but everywhere in Thailand. Wi-fi does not catch in the room, but it's not a problem because works at the Reception and hall floors. Near Khao San Road, very convenient! There are some exchange agency, bank ATM , 7-11 store, and it is quiet, The reception is very good, and accept us check earlier when room was available. And a staff helps us some time. And it can provide laundry service.
The room was a little squeezed, and the lock of bathroom door was broken, there was no wardrobe.

Really convenient Rambutri Village location, obliging and friendly staff,general facilities, wifi.
The place is getting somewhat frayed around the edges' with stairway carpets rolling up at the edges and in one room I had, the shower was turned off so hard that I couldn't turn it on. The next room the shower was OK but the hand basin was falling off the wall, the lid of the toilet cistern had a big piece broken out of it and the bath mat was a disgusting old worn out rag.

Good location, close enough to the activity of Khao San Rd and easy access to the temples but being down a couple of side streets not too noisy. We stayed here during Songkran, but even then didn't find it too noisy. Friendly staff, clean and tidy room, a good budget (for Bangkok prices) option for those that want to treat themselves to air con and a private bathroom. We chose to come back here upon our return back to Bangkok for the flight home.
The bar down the road got a little noisy due to Songkran celebrations; but having said that, the noise didn't last too late into the night and wasn't enough to stop us sleeping!

Its location is great, inside the main tourist street, can be too much if you don't want be where everyone goes.
There is a agency in the reception, be smart and bargain as much as possible. Never use a tuk tuk!
The staff were very friendly and helped us with every question we had. We also booked our train tickets at the main desk and it was done quickly and efficiently. The location was perfect, still close enough to all the bars but quiet at night.
The room was tiny and also the space in which you have to shower is not even big enough for a child.

The family behind reception were VERY friendly and helpful. The room was small but the bed was comfy and bathroom facilities were great. Location was the best part about the guesthouse, as soon as you step outside you experience what khao san has to offer - its only a 10 minute walk to khao san road, but the surrounding streets are just as good! full of bars, restaurants, street food and general fun atmosphere. Despite its central location we heard no outside noise from the room.
Wi-fi signal is poor in the rooms, but there are plenty of seats in the lobby where the signal is better.
Excellent location for travel by the river to major tourist locations, close to nightlife but the alley itself is quiet at night.

The location is great, it's near to KhaoSan Rd but not noisy. The room is quite nice, the staffs are just awesome, they can speak English very fluently. This is a reccomended place to stay.

The hotel is situated in an area full of tourists! You wont find any thai people there except the shop vendors, the place is full of western tourists so it doesnt look like thailand....If you want a Thai ambience, better go to some other locality. The hotel is also difficult to find, so have their phone number handy, so the taxi guy can call, its not on the main road you'll need to take the inner lanes to reach it.
