  Superb find! The location is fantastic, at almost 2000m altitude it really is away from the busy streets! Great views over the other mountains, peaks,Valleys forests etc. The food was really top quality, everything homemade including the bread, which was just so tasty!! Directly on the ski piste and only a short walk to the mid station. Great and... mitä ihmiset sanovat » friendly staff, very helpful in providing us with info/maps for hiking. Definitely a great place to stay if don't mind waking up to the sound of alp - Friendly staff makes you feel right at home. Quiet "off the beaten path" setting offers peace and quiet. Very nice balconies (main one at restaurant level and smaller balcony off of the upper floor) are very comfortable and both offer wonderful views. Daily homemade cakes and breads are outstanding. All food that can come from local farms does-- most notably the meat. Rustic chalet was once a schoolhouse, and to add to the feel of Switzerland, we were told cows were coming soon to graze nearby.
