Featuring a large outdoor pool surrounded by Mediterranean plants, Hotel Tobler enjoys a quiet location on a south-east-facing slope above Ascona. It offers free shuttle services, an on-site restaurant and an indoor pool. Each room has free WiFi access, a balcony and offers views of Lake Maggiore, the garden and the surrounding mountains. They are equipped with a minibar and come with a private bathroom. Bathrobes and slippers are provided as well. You can enjoy typical Mediterranean specialities in the Tobler Hotel's Tre Palme restaurant with its summer terrace. A buffet breakfast is offered every morning and half board is available as well. Children under the age of 5 years get half board for free. Free shuttle services from and to the Locarno Train Station, to the centre of Ascona and to destinations in the surroundings are provided. Bicycles, fitness facilities and Nordic-walking sticks are available for free as well. Massages are offered at an additional cost. Ascona's Old Town is a 10-minute walk away and the lakeshore can be reached in 15 minutes. Locarno is 3 km away from this charming, family-run hotel. Golf players receive a discount of 10 % per day and green fee at the Golf Club Gerre in Losone.

The location was really nice. The view is really amazing. The facilities were nice and relaxing. The pool was a welcome relief on a hot day. The restaurant was pretty good. The staff was friendly. Some of the decor is a bit dated.
