  We were travelling by car,so we wanted to have a hotel with parking and near the city. This was absolutely the right choice! Big rooms,only 8minutes walk to the main center,a very varied breakfast and a lovely helping stuff!   The Hotell Valsaren is a good hotel and certainly a better choice than yet another budget chain hotel. But it's a quirky kind of place. Location is excellent, central in Västerås, yet close to the highway. The hotel is in a converted building in an industrial area.   Hotel is in the city center. I had no problem with the check-in because I called them earlier. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was great! - Breakfast ok The security feeling to get in to the hotell.
