We stayed at Nooit Gedacht for 3 nights during the low season and got 5 star treatment. The place was kept at the highest standards, despite us being the only guests at the time. Pools, gardens (with lots of widlife), food and of course the ayurveda treatments, it was all perfect. The location is also great - just a few minutes walk from Unawatuna beach, but enough to have some peace - and there is a pleasant walk over the hill to a little village and a quiet little bay called Jungle Beach. Exceptional manager - very chatty and approachable.
We were even offered a free room upgrade many times. We refused as we were very happy with a room on the ground floor directly facing the pool. Excellent massage!

We stayed in two deluxe rooms, both if which were clean and well equipped.
Breakfast was great and when we ate in the hotel the food was delicious and enough to feed an army!!
The setting was idyllic, quiet but close to the beach, a small pool ideal for cooling off. Plentiful wildlife around the hotel including iguanas and monkeys
All in all thoroughly recommended.
