We probably had the best room but it was absolutely charming with its open shutters onto the Plaza Mayor with a second shuttered window indentation over the bed with classy wooden furniture and tasteful decorations. The decor of the hotel was eye catching wherever you looked while the owner was smartly dressed and so helpful. -

The guided tour at the monastery was fascinating and the Gregorian chant incomparable. Breakfast was fabulous. Whoever thought of putting chocolate in puff pastry is a genius. -
Very well situated hotel, opposite the church and monastery. Quiet. Food
simple, very reasonable prices. Good for exploring old villages in area.
Staff very friendly, no English spoken.

The owners and assistant were very nice and helpful. Delicious
breakfast. The owner waited for me at the bus stop to help me with my
bags and later drove me to a near town to take the bus when I left.
