  Everything. The location was great. The staff wonderful. Juan was very helpful in showing us the apt. Everything in the room was topnotch. There should be a sign on the drawers beneath the hanging rod about how to open. We loved especially the superb window and sound insulation, the induction cooktop.. While the street is very quiet (and safe), the building is soundproof. This apartment/hotel is in a historical building that has been recently rehabilitated with great care by the owner and his wife, who is an interior designer.

  This hotel was a delight. It is situated about 50m from a lovely beach and our room and balcony overlooked the sea. The Alen do mar is in a quiet, secluded spot but is in easy reach of the town of Fisterra, with its many restaurants. The breakfast was full and delicious and the service was wonderful. A bag of clothes, washed and ironed for only 4 Euros, has to be a bargain! The people running t - Hotel was really nice in a great location right next to beach in the woods a short drive from Fisterra. It had a really new feel as did the room which features a large balcony. Breakfast was served in stages unlike the usual Buffet style and was presented well. Staff were very friendly.

Understated, elegant, unfussy, very polite and ethusiastic staff, great breakfast, very quiet, comfortable and perfectly situated near the centre of the old town. Maybe 100 metres from the Cathedral. This old building has been very well restored. Breakfast was extra but well worth the price, although not a buffet you could ask for extra without incurring any further cost. would recommend this Hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Santiago De Compostela
