  It is an extraorindarily beautiful property with attention to detail inside and out. The room was delightful and comfortable with wonderful beds. The owner gave us a guided tour to explain the history of the property and the rennovation process -- fascinating. The bistro had delicious fare and a lovely ambience. It was simpl - Great attention to detail, whithout being stuffy our pretentious. One felt at home and confortable. Newspapers are available in the reception area and books in the lounge, and drinks are available in the mini bar of the room free of charge. We had dinner one night at the hotel and enjoyed it greatly. We overheard quite a few clients mentioning that they had been there before and were planning to return.

  The hotel was well designed. the rooms comfortable. We paid to upgrade from a demi loft suite to the much more costly gold suite which was a fun experience. Staff very helpful and warm natured. Would definately return. - Everything was fantastic... Again... It's always a relaxing and pleasuring moment the time spent on this hotel.   The hotel is outstanding. Once we got there we could not have been moresatisfied with the setting, the facilities, the food, the staff. (Evenif we did have to change our room to accommodate King Juan Carlos andhis entourage.) - The rooms, the views, the meals, the service... everything!!   Very historic old monastery which has been very sympathetically and cleverly restored. Staying there is like living in a piece of ancient history but with todays values.
