Leo and Alana were amazing hosts. We arrived on a holiday when local restaurants were closed. So, we purchased a home meal prepared by Alana and served by Leo in their living room / breakfast room. Leo cheerfully carried all of our luggage up the steps. The room was a really a spacious suite and we had access to the roof garden, the previously mentioned living room, and the lobby. Stayed in this charming hotel with excellent service for 11 nights. The hotel is at an ideal location, a five minute walk from the beach, the retail area, and the old walled part of the city. The rooms are modest but there is a great terrace off the fourth floor that offers one of the best views of the city.

The host. Lluis helped so much with everything that we had nothing to worry about. (Restraunts, sightseeing, directions, where to go, etc.)
Hotel location is very good, ~5 mins from the beach.
There is a really nice walking path up to the mountains, it takes 10-15 mins to get to wonderful views.
Parking helped a lot.
Terrace is really peaceful and nice.

There are only 25 rooms in this hotel, so the service was superb. We were addressed on a first-name basis by the staff (great job Javier, Wim, and Ignacio!) We felt extremely welcome and appreciated. The location was unbeatable - 2 minutes to Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. Rooms were comfortable, efficient, and sleekly designed - and the extra "salon" was a bonus. We also enjoyed the 24-hour complimentary cafe and the personalized breakfast.

Beautiful decorated interiors, lovely garden, quiet area, but most of all a very personal welcome and warm hospitality by the owners. A lot of attention for all details, and excellent dining! Also our three daughters of 7, 11 and 12 yrs old liked this hotel very much.
