  The hotel is in a quiet street so there's no problem getting to sleep at night or having a lie in in the morning. Only a 10 minute walk to the bars, clubs and restaurants of Barri Gotic and la Rambla and there's metro stop Arc de Triomf 2 minutes away so it's easy to go out, safe to walk home at night and in close proximity to a beautiful park and... mitä ihmiset sanovat » the beach. We took a superior room so we had a small outdoor conservatory that was simply luxurious and the high-tech shower for two was great. Impec - We were happily surprised. It is a low profile hotel. No grand entrance, but home like. The room was spacious, clean, newly styled, comfortable with a wonderful balcony view of the city. The hotel is about a block away from a beautiful archway and walkway, not covered on the bus tours. The neigherhood is safe and there is life going on up until 2:00 a.m., but it does not disturb the guests. We loved it. This hotel can accomodate those with who walk with a cane/walker.   Staff were friendly and spoke English fluently. The room and facilities were very clean. We didn't think the room was small at all - we could fit both our large suitcases in without any troubles. The hostal is also conveniently located in the heart of Barcelona. Passeig de Gracia is within walking distance and Casa Mila is just two blocks away! Bus Turistic city tour buses also leave from here. We were also only 15 mins walk from The Ramblas, the main tourist shopping street. Khronos was basic but very clean & the staff were very friendly & helpful.   It looks clean and comfortable . the back rooms are quiet but not have open view. Bathroom looks clean . the host is kind and give enough information in english . Just opposite of the Estacio de Franca train station wich you get train to Airport (need to transfer ) Very closer to Barcelona zoo(1 minute), Parc de Ciutadella(1 minute), La Rambla (5... mitä ihmiset sanovat » minutes) and Barcelona beach (5 minutes) by walking. - Location was very good for visiting the Old Gothic neighborhood, La Rambla, and Barcelonetta, and only a 5 minute walk to Metro stop to access farther sights. The room was small (typical for Spain), but with a high ceiling it didn't feel too claustrophobic. Good value with all the basics, plus a few extra amenities, like balcony and hair dryer. A/c worked well, which was crucial in mid-July.
