  Staff were friendly and spoke English fluently. The room and facilities were very clean. We didn't think the room was small at all - we could fit both our large suitcases in without any troubles. The hostal is also conveniently located in the heart of Barcelona. Passeig de Gracia is within walking distance and Casa Mila is just two blocks away! There are plenty of decent restaurants around the area as well as a laundry service two blocks down f - The location of Hostal Boutique Khronos was excellent, 10 mins walk from the main square where buses to and from airport were situated. Bus Turistic city tour buses also leave from here. We were also only 15 mins walk from The Ramblas, the main tourist shopping street. Khronos was basic but very clean & the staff were very friendly & helpful.   Friendly staff (one man spoke Spanish, English and French), clean and large rooms, a good bed and a proper bathroom. Very good airconditioning (although you can't regulate it yourself, but it switches off at night so you don't get sick while sleeping). The building pit next to the hostel did not have any negative influence on us, but do make sure you have earplugs. Also - Very friendly and informative staffs. Superb location. La Bouqeria Market, La Rambla Street, Metro station and bus stop is at the doorstep. The room was large with a balcony and shower. The common toilet was always clean. Breakfast was OK. It was the best hostel I stayed in my Eurotrip. If you are in a budget trip. This is where you must stay in Barcelona.
