  Hotel Fornos biggest advantage is the l-o-c-a-t-i-o-N. Situtated 10 M. from the Rambla and 10 M. from the clasy and cool Plaza Real I wouldn't swith Fornos for another hotel. The interior of the room is a bit old, looks like from the 80's or so but who cares as long as you are in the middle of the action.   One of the best places we've ever stayed. There are some reasons below: 1. There are two cool guys Fernando (the owner) and Asif (his colleague) at reception desk. If it's your first stay in Barcelona they can explain all things you need at the city. They are really welcome and helpful. Other stuff is nice as well and never bothers you. 2. Dur - This was a great place to stay. We were a family of 5 travelling with 3 teenagers. We stayed in apartment 1 with 2 bedrooms, a sofa bed, and 3 full bathrooms. Although all beds seem to be quite firm in Spain, they were more comfortable than most. The apartment had a large patio that could be used in cooler weather. The apartment was well located and extremely reasonably priced for the quality. The staff were wonderful and even waited for us for our arrival after midnight. I read a few reviews a

  The apartment truly is centrally located which is great if you're in Barcelona to see the city. It was easy to find and the check in was simple. Judit explained exactly how to get to there when we called ahead from the airport. Olav was waiting for us just outside the door and the address was well-marked. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had many personal touches to make you feel at home. Hones - Excellent apartment - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. It was well equipped, very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Excellent location too in a quiet back street that's easy walking to La Rambla, the Old City, Port and the beach. It's right by the Universitat metro stop (no more than 5 mins walk away) and the metro itself, so easy to use. Our first time staying at a serviced apartment and we'll definitely be doing it again based on our experience here.

  Excellent location! Quiet, clean, safe and a bargain for the area! The bathroom is very small, but was fine for us. Two doors down from the best and cheapest restaurant in Barcelona!! La Fonda, Excellent!! - The location was amazing, without a doubt would stay there again. Also the staff member that showed us to the building was really helpful.
