  The staff is very nice, smiling and available to solve any situation to make you feel comfortable, The rooms as well as the kitchen and the other common spaces are clean and you can feel chez toi. The location is perfect, centric and very close to Porta del Sol (subway and train) so I could walk easily with my 30kg of backpack!   I like the fact that the Hostal was not only brand new but mainly because the rooms were always very clean. It is called a Hostal, althought it's better then many hotels out there.   I really loved the location of the hostel! It's super central, easy to walk to anywhere in the city, and there are always people out and about, so it feels quite safe. The staff was really helpful, including carrying my heavy bags up and down the stairs and helping me to arrange for a taxi to the airport at the end of my stay. Close to metro station, but you don't necessarily need to use it as everything in the Madrid centre is within a 20min walk. Super friendly staff. Little taverna a few doors down serving excellent tapas, great beers and wine. Lidl supermarket a 2min walk away.

  First of all, we have to say that the staff was unbelievable!! All of them were extremely friendly and extremely helpful as we had lots of questions and requests. The room was exactly what we needed…no complaints. We stayed for 2 nights and you cannot beat the price. Thank you for making our stay in Madrid an unforgettable and excellent experienc - Hotel staff spoke very good English, and they were very pleasant. It was very quiet inside all the hallways and doors, so I knew I would be able to sleep well. Safe. We had a key to get into the building later in the evening. The evening staff worked very hard to print out a ticket for us. He was very kind to do so. Polite, honest, hard working. The mini frig was a wonderful item, as was the hairdryer. I would gladly recommend the Hostal, especially if you want to be in the center of Madrid.

  Great location, just two blocks away from "Puerta del sol" and "Plaza mayor". Clean rooms and bathroom at a great price. Public parking is just 1/2 a block away. It's a great base location to walk around Madrid. Senora Remedios and Mr Vicente are the very friendly couple that runs the place.
