We had a very warm greeting as soon as we entered the Hotel, from Alex. Although in travelling, my expectations do not include that everyone speaks English; but, your staff spoke it extremely well, which makes travelling so much easier. Lovely architecture, marble winding staircase and old wooden doors, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. TV on the wall. Lots of information available about Barcelona. Shared bathroom wasn't such an issue for a short stay (1 night).

Great hotel and location in the heart of Barcelona old town (Barri Gotic), very clean and comfortable (rooms cleaned every day, spotless!), in fact cleaner than a lot of the 3 star hotels I've stayed in. Friendly and helpful staff. I cannot fault this hotel and will book again. Highly recommended!!!

Pillow Ramblas is very conveniently located right on La Ramblas. Minutes walk to everything you need.
The staff were absolutely delightful - particularly Eva and Gina - always smiling, always helpful.
Rooms were newly renovated, very clean, bright, spacious.
Breakfast was also very nice with a beautiful spread of pastries, sweets, hams, cheeses and a nespresso machine.
Highly recommended, would stay there again without question.

Staff was really helpful and friendly. There's two different guest houses in nearby buildings, one is rather communal backpacker style and the other is quieter. I was in the former (without knowing what I was getting into), and they were easy going about moving me into the latter. Good kitchen set up. The backpacker place was actually pretty nice for that sort of thing, just not what I was looking for (I'm a bit older than that now, and like my peace and quiet!).
