  I can strongly recommend this place to people who look for something cozy, stylish, not typical. You feel more like at home, not like in a hotel. There is a common space for the guests where you can sit around big table, drink high quality coffee (free of charge) and relax.   The hostal was ok, nothing luxurious but clean and comfortable. The facility is located on a house and has the reception on the second floor and the rooms on the fifth floor. This was not optimal since one has to ring a bell on the fifth floor to get the main door opened there (the receptionist opens the door from the second floor by watching on a... mitä ihmiset sanovat » video camera located on the fifth floor). It happened that I had to ring the bell at least 10 times before getting the door opened. Apart from that t - Booked a single room. Small but wasn't expecting much. Good wifi in reception (2nd floor) but nothing in room. Very good location, very good value (paid £24 per night), not much noise from nearby bathroom but you may want to take earplugs

  Pepe and his wife were really helpful and gave us excellent specific advice especially on where to go and how to travel with young children and held onto our luggage after check out as we had a late flight. Also walking distance to Ramblas de Catalunya. Excellent for shopping, restaurants, caffe'-s and more of "real" Barcelona. Apartments look exactly like in the picture: modern, super clean, neat, new, well equpied. (a new building behind an old facade) Staff is super friendly, helpful and clear on all the costs/options. I will stay there again.

  Friendly staff, location - The location was perfect, as a family with no vehicle the location of our apartment was within walking distance to everything. The facilities like the bathroom, washing machine, and kitchen in the apartment were amazing they made our holiday a lot easier. The size was great and it was very comfortable. Very organized and a nice baby cot was already set up for us in the room. The door people working at the apartment were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Apartment was in a great part of town and very convenient and great access to Metro.
