The staff were really friendly, the couple that run the hostal were
really sweet and really helpful. They even arranged a shuttle to the
airport for us for 9 Euro each. Breakfast was included (but I never made
it), the room was cute, clean, and comfortable.

Excellent location near the Metro and many restaurants. Friendly, helpful people at the front desk who helped make dinner reservations for us. Good WiFi in our room. It's a perfect place to stay in Madrid. it was the best hostel i've ever stayed. Why?
1. Clean and beautiful. For me its the most important criteria - to have a clean bath and bed. Here everything looked new and smart. Cool design in corridors and inside the rooms.
2. Friendly and very helpful stuff. They will help you to organize the stay better

Hostel is at a perfect location, close to Plaza del Sol, tons of bars and clubs and Prado museum. Athough it is in a loud area, the hostel itself is pretty peaceful and sleeping problems caused by outside noise are non-existent.
Hostel staff is probably the friendliest and more helpful than I've ever seen. They are always ready to answer any questions and request within their power.
The design is simply wonderful and refreshing. The rooms are so clean that you could probably eat off the floor

Very nice, modern hotel. The room was very spacious. Toilet was big: there's separate toilet and a nice shower. Next to it is a little cloakroom. All these partitioned next to the bedroom. It was a pleasant surprise to stay at an art showcase hotel: what an inspiration. When we arrived they were displaying beautiful photographs from an artist, on the following week they displayed paintings from a renowned andalusian painter. Hostal Hispano takes WiFi seriously! It is strong and reliable . My room (220) was nice, spacious and quiet. Very clean and lots of fresh white towels. There's a coffee and refreshments machine in the lobby. The area were the hostel is located is terrific. My compliments to the sweet staff.
