  We stayed for 2 nights on our arrival to Madrid (into Atocha Station, which is about a 10 minute walk straight down Calle Atocha); the young, ultra-helpful staff was a pleasure to deal with - they are sharp people and we found no shortage of good English among them. Within half an hour of booking I received a "welcome" email from the hotel with detailed and useful information on how to find the hotel whatever the mode of transport, I’ve never had this before from an hotel, it boded well and I was not disappointed. Without exception the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful, and equally happy to speak

  This hotel is excellent! We were 2 girls travelling together and felt very safe in the area. The hotel room was spotless and so comfy. We had a room on the 2nd floor facing Grand Via. We loved seeing the action, but when we didn't want to hear or see it, the blackout blinds and sound proofed windows worked perfectly! Hotel and rooms are very clean. Staff were fine. Overall, nothing exceptional but it served its purpose well enough.
