  The apartment was 5 minute walk to the Selva de Mar metro train station and under 10 minute walk to a family friendly beach, which has deck chairs and umbrellas to rent for the day ($6 euro each), even has a DJ later in the day. 5 min walk to a large shopping complex and a local grocery super market.   I absolutely liked this guesthouse. The location is excellent and safe, and it is very easy to access hot spots by walking or subway. It locates between El Born and Barceloneta. The guesthouse locates in the second floor of an histrorical building and has 11 rooms. It feels like staying as a guest in an apartment, which I like. Rooms are clean and... mitä ihmiset sanovat » decorated in minimalist style. Although I stayed in a single room with interior windows, the room met with my needs. I suppose double rooms with balc - The staff were very nice and understanding. They kept my reservation even though my credit card had failed and there wasn't any chance to call my bank as I was in transit from Rome. This was the best place we stayed in our 2 week holiday in Barcelona, Paris and Rome. My family loved the place and wish we had discovered it earlier. Exceptionally clean and neat with modern decor. Loved the pictures at the reception.

  This place is in the heart of Eixample in a very nice area. We had a superior room with a nice balcony to the main road (it is quite noisy even at night, but if you use earplugs there is no problem). You also have a commonly used living and breakfast room - very lovely because the details of the old house (e.g, wooden ceiling). And furthermore, Raquel as a host is fantastic :-) - I think the hostel is very well located, its very easy to travel inside the city, because its very close to the metro and main streets.Also you can find pharmacy,restaurants,shopping markets just beside.The owner of the hostel is a very kind,helpful and warm couple. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Hostel's balcony was really good to have breakfast. Calm and warm environment you feel like your home. Hope to come again, I absolutely recommend this hostel.

  We only had one night in this hotel and then moved to a 5 star in the Port Olympic area. The location of the Colonial hotel was fantastic. Across the street is a fantastic local area full of interesting resteraunts and bars. Although we moved to the Port Olympic area we returned to the area oppo - Great hotel in a great location. I had to book this hotel at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances, and I was over the moon with my choice. Very relaxing atmosphere and for the price I got it, you can not go wrong!!!!
