  Location was excellent, a very very short walk from the Puerta del Sol. Very very very good value for the price. Place was clean, and everything worked fine. Staff was very hospitable. Honestly I've stayed at better places, but I certainly enjoyed my stay, and have no real complaints. Would certainly stay here again. - We LOVED it here!   The hostal was located right at the Puerta Del Sol. The location was perfect for exploration of the city. The room was clean and the towels/sheets were changed out regularly. While there were daily protests in the plaza, we never felt unsafe. The lady who worked the front desk did not speak English, but this was not a problem for us.   I really enjoyed my stay here at Residencia Lourdes. The women who runs this hostel is very nice and is more than willing to give you advice on where to go and places to have fun.   It was a great place to stay... Clean n quite and they had a good security system and they are very budget friendly. .. and the location is perfect. Its right in the middle of the city n has near by access to the metro and restaurants. The fountain where are night the street artists come to perform. I can recommend this hostal to anyone who would like to explore the city because everything are close in the vacinity. The bathroom and room are tiny,but for the five nights we stayed, it was sufficient. Fridge, hair dryer, clean linen and towels plus amenities everyday.
