  Location was fantastic, read alot of poor reviews before visiting Sant Carlo but it was perfectly fine. My partner and I had a double room with our own bathroom. Wasn't huge but had shower, sink and loo. Flat screen TV on wall, stand up fan provided. The Hostel is on the 3rd floor of an apartment block, easy to find, buzzer at main door.   Loved the staff, everyone there was very very nice, talkative and helpful. The location was good too, directly next to a metro station, but if you don't want to take a metro you are already on the street that takes you right to La Rambla. In a nut shell, it's very central to everything. I enjoyed my stay in this hostel very much. It is a quiet hostel thoug - I often stay in this hostel when passing through Barcelona on business. It's a really beautiful, clean hostel with crisp white sheets and duvets. The Spanish guy on reception was incredibly kind and helpful, even at 3.30 in the morning when I needed some water! This is a good hostel for a traveller or business person who wants a quiet bed for the night at a great price. It's not a party hostel so you can actually get some sleep here!

  Room was excellent, especially the bathroom. We ate in the restaurant on one occasion. The food was wonderful. We were served by a young lady who appeared to be new. I think her name was Alexandra? It may have been spelt differently . She was enthusiastic and smiled a lot. Her attitude was a feature of our evening. The proximity to the city was a feature of hotel and the swimming pool was a - The location of the hotel was perfect , it is few minutes walk from the city center and the bus tour. The staff are friendly and helpful all the time and were kind to my 5 months old son. The inside of the hotel is clean with modern design, the room although slightly small but are comfortable and clean and the hotel provide a cot to by son freely. I was expecting a moderate size swimming pool unfortunately it was small, but again it is clean with modern design romantic atmosphere.
