The same since 3 years and i think the best quality/price in Madrid! The metro is 5/10 minutes walk away and there is loads of places to eat. The staff are lovely, carried my bags for me and couldnt help you enough. The price is great for what you get! this was my 3rd stay in this hostel and I spoke to others staying in other hostels paying more and they wernt anywhere near as good!

  The staff was very kind and helpful, and the hostel has an excellent location in the center, just next to Plaza Mayor, 5 minutes from Palacio Real and in front of the hostel there is the market San Miguel which has one of the best offer of foods. - The rooms are amazing, the best hostel I've ever been to!   The staff were so friendly, particularly Anna. We didn't realise it was more of a backpackers' hostel than a hotel, but as it was only two nights, it didn't matter. Anna was very helpful and the hostel's location could not be bettered. - good room, friendly staff, localization.

  I loved there! You are really in the center of Madrid so no need to buy any tickets for train or so. Near all the biggest madrid atracctions and Chueca if you are gay :-). Very clean simple hostal and nice personal. Come on..it´s too cheap too. there´s a lot of restaurants around and the metro is very near anyway.
