  It was a great location, very clean, the staff where very helpful, the lift was good to have, there were drinks available to buy at low rates but no other services that are common in hotels.   First of all, the location of the hostel is great, being located in the heart of Madrid, a few minutes away from Gran Via and all the cultural places. Also it is really easy to arrive from the airport. Second of all, the ratio quality-price was great taking into the consideration that my room was quite modern and I enjoyed the shower with hidromas... mitä ihmiset sanovat » sage. The room was very clean and quiet. Next, the staff was young, professional, very friendly and with good communication skills (they spoke English - The location of Hostal Gala is excellent, a 5 minute walk from Gran Via and Puerto Del Sol. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, always ready to help and advise on where to go and what to do. The hostal is also kept very clean and the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Although the rooms do not have safe deposit boxes, security and leaving passports/money behind was never a cause for concern. This is a place I would recommend and stay at again!

  Position was good, staff and room too. Our room was a little too noisy because nearby we had the owner's apartament. In general walls were thin but considering the extreme cheapness of the hotel it was ok. - Worth the money, very close to the centre and the metro, lovely place.
