  The Staff were extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. At the time my husband fell ill and we couldn't go for breakfast, they were most kind to go and fetch us breakfast and bring it to our Room. Also, I needed a plug for my laptop and within a blink of a second, one arrived. This Guest House reminded me a lot of a Guest House we stayed at in M... mitä ihmiset sanovat » adrid. It's very personal and cosy and the rooms are clean, with a fridge and a little garden where one can sit outside. Close by many restaurants, in - peaceful people, nice accommodation, safe place to stay, easy to reach appoint of town you want ,close to the sea, waterfront ,shopping places.etc. we love the place wishing to stay in next trip again.

  We absolutley loved this place. The rooms were beautiful with very tasteful decor so much so we are transforming our own home to copy some of the style of Ah Guesthouse! For the food lovers who like fine dining you must take advantage and book in for the 4 course dinner. Arnold is not just a fantastic host but his food can only be described as mic... mitä ihmiset sanovat » hellin starred!...an absolutely fabulous meal not to mention his breakfasts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay we even purchased a gift voucher for one n - the place was beautiful and we loved every minute of it. Arnold and Annelise were fantastic and very attentive, the dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, what a treat! Take a room upstairs and you can enjoy a fantastic view and relax sipping a nice glass of wine. It was winter, but we were lucky to have the best weather and the house was very cosy and bedroom comfortable and warm!

  Our hosts, Mart & Pete,were exceptional people, At once entertaining, hospitable, warm, generous, above all extremely nice people. Breakfast was fabulous, served on the veranda with a outstanding view overlooking the town of Knysna and the bay. The B&B was situated within 5 mins of all local amenities. We spent one week here and would definitely return here at some point in the futu - The Guinea Fowl Lodge is on a hill, overviewing Knysna but still close –walking distance- to the city. When we arrived the host gave us a map and some helpful tips of what to do with the rest of the afternoon. The rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is served on the beautiful terrace and everything you could possible want is there - fresh fruits, toast, cheese, jam & marmalade. We liked the accommodation and would definitely go again!

  I enjoyed the fire place in the room. Kept us warm for the rainy weekend. Beautiful vista. Most importantly the food. Thanks and compliments to the chefs - Outstanding guesthouse, really beautiful rooms, we had to leave early in the morning and the staff prepared a take away breakfast for us. Great value.
