  Everything was really really great - excellent service, good and diverse breakfast, very helpful and kind staff. We had a beautiful room on the ground floor with terrace, which was perfect for relaxation. The house is surrounded by greenery and in a calm neighbourhood, only a 10-minute walk from the Stellenbosch center. If you are attending a conference in Spier (or somewhere close), it is o - Nice big rooms - the downstairs room have a small terrace so you can sit outside. The house has lovely wooden floors/victorian baths etc which give it character. Breakfast was simple but fresh. Ben was very very helpful responding to our every request very quickly and efficiently. This is a budget friendly option for staying in Stellenbosch. Next time I think I would stay somewhere closer to the restaurants in town.

  Gwen & Johan were incredibly helpful, and offered lots of recommendations both for restaurants and (most importantly for us) wine tours! Indeed, we hadn't even checked in and had made the online reservation a couple of hours earlier and they were helping us book a wine tour! Minibar was reasonably priced and lots of choice. Breakfast made to order. Location very good if one wants to explore Stellenbosch by foot. Very passionate hosts who love to receive guests from all over the world.

  We were received by Gene with a wonderful smile, vastly compensating the tiring flight from Europe. She made our week-long stay a memorable experience. The breakfast was great. "Our house" had two bedrooms, one living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, etc, just for the two of us.   Everything about the guest house was great. The apartment I had booked was so cosy and the service was superb. I have been recommending the place to friends since my return home. I am definately staying there again when next I go to Stellenbosch. - Well this time I had my own private fridge, AND the ultimate luxury.....a bath WITH bubblebath!   It offered very good value for money and since we we going to a wedding and only going to be arriving late and night and leaving early the next morning, we did not need all the bells and whistles.
