Excellent location, in the centre of Rondebosch and within walking distance of UCT. Also a short drive into Cape Town itself. A friendly place to stay and the staff were very helpful, including booking site seeing activities.
The location near the university was ideal. The rooms were tastefully
and comfortably arranged. All the facilities worked. The staff was

The staff were very friendly and professional. The setting was very comfortable, warm and welcoming. I felt safe and well cared for. I really enjoyed every aspect of my stay and highly recommend it.

city, Constantia, Hout Bay , Kirstenbosh etc.. Breakfast. Shower.
Place was neat and clean and well situated to get to the university and then to the city and waterfront.
The small en suite bathroom in our room had clearly been added in a
recent renovation and the sink was simply too small for the water
pressure available. It took a few dousings before we learned to be
careful when turning on the water.
There was nothing that I could find any fault in. I have no complaints whatsoever.
Wireless internet a problem.
The noise in the room on top of mine. Really it was disturbing; I think the foot sounds were amplified by the wooden floor?!
Also, although not a major problem, there was a kinda musty smell in the room that needed one to open the window for a lengthy period. Maybe its because I'm suffering from sinusitis and I'm allergic to certain plants and smells.
Bar closes early.
Breakfast was tasteless.
Parking a challenge. Washbasin tap badly designed - water shoots
directly on to floor. Maids bed making poor - double blanket not
necessary in summer and sheets tightly tucked in meaning I had to remake
the bed every day before using it. Garden staff were noisy outside room
early in the morning.
I felt that the communal spaces were right on top of you, so guests were right near your room, not very private.
1. Could hear every sound in adjacent room - cough,bathroom noises.
2. Traffic noises
Definitely not a good night's rest in this guest house.
