  The staff was very helpful. They spoke very good English and were able to help me with translation issues and directions. I had a room on the street side, which I was pleasantly surprised did not have much noise. The room was comfortable and clean. There were a couple of English speaking channels on the TV. I will stay at this hotel on my next visit. - I really appreciated the outstanding service that that the staff offered to us. While there, I had my passport stolen by a pickpocket on a bus and Svetlana, a staff member, took us to the police station and assisted us by acting as a translator. While enroute to the station, she gave us a running commnentary on the sights in St. Petersburg. The food in the two hotel resturants were excellent, but the one called Marius had more choices.

  I have been staying in this hotel for six days. After long flight from Australia I had great time to relax in a comfort atmosphere. Fantastic! Very welcoming staff, great rooms -brand new and clean. Hotel provides you with dressing gown and slippers. Metro station is 7-8 minutes away. One stop to Nevski, prospect. Palace Square - I liked everything, almost. Especially the staff of the hotel and the cleanliness of the room. But unlike it was the case in one of the previous review of the hotel (from Poland), the supper was not free of charge. I paid for it ;)

I booked a regular double with patio view but was upgraded to 2-level room with the Moika channel view (cannot thank the hotel staff enough for that!).
