Great location, walking distance to many sites and to two subway stops. Quiet and clean. Comfortable bed and extra pillows were provided when we asked for them.
The furnishings are a bit dated. The breakfast got boring after a couple of days and it was hard to order eggs at breakfast as the staff speak no English.
Location is perfect! Staff super friendly and helpful, but language is a bit of a challenge.

The room was very spacious, well equipped and very warm. The bathroom was clean and comfortable.The location was also very good. I really enjoyed the "russian style breakfast".

We were in Moscow for the World Athletics Championsip, so the hotel was ideally located for travel to the Luzhniki Stadium, but we were also within easy walking distance of Red Square and Gorky Park, and other sightseeing opportunities, with Metro stations close by. Our room was spacious with a huge bed and large bathroom. Linen, towels and toiletries were replaced daily. We also had a fridge which was very useful for storing drinks and food. There was a water dispenser on the ground floor, so we could top up our water bottles. The breakfast provided a wide choice of food.
The cafe / restaurant offered only a limited choice of main meals for dining, and the quality and value was just average. The choice at breakfast was wide and varied from day to day, but tended to be very carb-based and not so good if looking for healthy choices.
Really great hotel. Great location in the center of Moscow - 10 minute walk to subway, another 5 to Gorkiy Park, 10-15 minutes walk to Arbat. Restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Nice variety of food for breakfast. Friendly staff. Huge room with bedroom and office. Free WIFI, fridge -everything you need for a nice stay. On the checkout we received discount because we booked the night but left late at the evening. It was great surprise - most of the hotels do not refund in this case.
A little bit expensive comparing to Europe hotels but the hotel is really good. So I didn't feel overpriced.

some of the rooms on the ground floor are less nice (not renovated and with a dirty old carpet) but also cheaper (kind of cheaper as in Moscow every hotel is expensive). wi fi does not work in ground floor rooms

Perfect location, close to city centre and between two metro stations. Given the very high cost of hotels in Moscow, to find a place like this is an absolute bargain!. Rooms were clean and large, bathroom was OK - a bit dated, but clean and with loads of hot water. A/C worked fine and it was very quiet, despite being so close to the city.
Only small criticism was the breakfast which seemed to vary in quality from day to day. On some days, there was no milk for example, which seemed a bit strange for a hotel.
It was good to go back to a comfortable and inexpensive hotel within walking distance of the main tourist sites of the city.
The hotel has no frontage being hidden away behind a forgettable street and buildings down some archway (and is 10/15 mins from nearest Metro), but if you can get over this small hurdle, then it is no problem.

The staff in the hotel restaurant cannot speak English and also the restaurant menu is in the Russian language only.
The hotel is very good, located in the center of the city, close to two metro stations. Rooms are quiet and well-equipped and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have forgotten my camera in the room and they sent it to my by post. I appreciate much their willingness and helpfulness.

Breakfast awful. Cold meats, yoghurts not in chilled cabinet. Not geared up for European visitors. Some staff came across as aggressive and not at all friendly. In room safe not attached to anything so could be picked up and removed complete. Bathroom and corridors stiflingly hot. In July heated towel rail overpowering. No information available for things to do, would have liked to be given a city map to help in finding things to see or places to go. Kettle provided but no tea, coffee or milk!
Wifi was not working properly. Room was dirty. Breakfast was disgusting. Staff was not interested in serving the clients.
