  It was a very pleasant stay at friends hostel. The one down side was that we had to move rooms after the first night due to noise on the bottom floor. Room was close to the social room and window nearest the hostel entrance. We stayed for 4 nights. The staff were very helpful and moved us to another room on an upper floor. Just 2 steps from Nevsky prosp. and 2 metro stations (Nevsky Prospect+Gostiny Dvor, lines ).
