  Great location, just a few mins walk to the Hermitage and metro, and close to most of the sightseeing spots. Staffs are all friendly and helpful, speak good english. The place is very clean and cosy, just feel like home. Guests gather in the living room every night you can meet many new friends from all the world. Pluses: great location, comfortable and clean rooms. I met a lot of interesting people there. The staff is very friendly, they helped me orientate in St. Petersburg and also showed great places to party! When I stayed at hostel it was celebration of masleniza (something like this) and the staff organized the party - it was really great!   I really liked this hostel. Location is perfect, everything you need is really close. Rooms and bathroom are clean. The best part was a nice kitchen and anticafe upstairs where you can meet local people and find a lot of board games.   A very cosy and comfortable hotel. As far as we understood there are about ten rooms in the hotel and it is located in a historic building in the heart of the city. There is no lift in the building so you will have to go up the stairs to the fourth floor. We stayed there for one night only on our way from Kostroma to Helsinki.   excellent stay! i travel the world over, just about every week I'm in a new place but have never stayed at a Kempinski before. The staff we great. The room was great. I got upgraded and dont even know why as i dont have a Kempinski loyalty card - but i do now! Will definitely stay again.
