  Great staff who took time to give us recommendations, give directions, etc. They also speak English well which was an important bonus. Breakfast is a good spread with lots of variety, definitely saved time and money on that. And the location is excellent- right near Nevsky and just a 10-15 min walk to all main attractions. The personnel is wonderfull, excellent english and helpful. A complete breakfast, with russian specialities and also continental food for foreigners. Nice room, bathroom, pleasant heating, an electric kettle with tea bags were appreciated at night.

  Without a doubt the best thing about this hotel is the location - it is situated right in the historic centre of St. Petersburg, all sights are very close - I managed to visit a lot in a very short time and didn't even have to use Russian public transport (which leaves a lot to be desired!!).   The wireless was working properly and fast. The room design was very good and feels like you are in a design hotel. It was really close to nevsky prospekt which is the heart of the city so it was really easy to navigate. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge and clean. Our room was on third floor.
