  Everything - the rooms are very cosy, comfortable and warm - perfect for a mid-winter stay. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The location was great - 2 minutes to the supermarket, pleasant 25 minute walk to Alta museum in one direction and the centre of town in the other. I will definitely stay here again, hopefu - The hotel is nice, and some rooms have a very good view to the fjord. Traditional style, with good ammenities. The food in the restaurant is very good, and not only for norwegian standards :) It is important as there are no other restaurants nearby. Very good breakfast included. Very friendly and helpfull staff.

  Absolutely beautiful location, homely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Tasty homemade food. Clean and well-equipped accommodation. Our family loved the place! - we had a very nice small Chalet (small hut) for 2 with a small kitchen an bathroom. We were very surprised because it was all so nice. Good hiking-possibilities and also Alta is quite near (when you are there with car!) - When we arrived, we found the letter to us with instructions where is located our cottage. The key to cottage was in the door. Next morning we left this friendly and beautiful (we believe - espescially in summertime) place and have not seeing owners and not saying to them - thank You...

  The hotel was well furnished and the rooms looked modern, the bathrooms too but the halls and dining room etc had very nice decoration that really went with the Norwegian feel of the place. Breakfast was laid out as a buffet and was nice enough. Staff were really friendly and approachable. It has a stunning view of a fjord with an observatory for those without a room overlooking the fj - We are thrilled to have found the Guesthouse only 4 minutes away from the hustle of Alta center! t was like coming into a private home, room was excellent w\large bathroom heated floor, beds were so comfortable, and the evening meal was excellent as were the entire staff, we are already booking for a return visit to use the Spa facilities! For us this means no more Hotels in Alta, being forced (sometimes) to o\n in Alta has now become a pleasure. What a wonderful place!, being able to talk a wa

  I couldn't fault it. The staff was excellent, the rooms clean and perfectly adequate for a traveller. It was near the heart of one of the three centres of Alta. - Nice big room, free parking, free sauna
